   I can't comment on rooms but... Having driven around (and walked) for almost an hour I eventually found the "cafe". There are no sign posts to anything that I found useful, you can call the contact number and they are of little to no help. Paid for my 'coffee' overpriced, burnt and I don't want to think about it anymore. Staff short tempered/ rude . Expect clients to know everything about a venue they have just got too. I'll be sticking to McDonald's Newport for coffee from now on. I did think this was a Sport England site, if it isn't I apologise but if it is shame on you Sport England as I believe it's a con!

   Stoped 4 times in 100 yards by people telling me I can't par k. All I wanted to do was ask about wedding options in the hall they say is big enough. Won't be coming back again. I thought this was a wedding venue but it would appear that it's a leisure centre.

   Beautiful setting with gorgeous grounds and ideal for walks. Essentially a hostel / hotel for athletes. We had a room on the ground floor in Kent hall. The mattresses definitely need to be replaced. The rooms were a little dank and as the weather turns I suspect this will get worse. Need better pillows as well. The staff are knowledgeable and really helpful. The showers are small but adequate but they do leak. Please have lights where the entrances are to the various halls, perhaps lights that are triggered by movement And clear signage for the halls barring all the above. It's one of the best places to stay in the Telford area

   Lovely place in the middle of the countryside. Very peaceful. Everything is well looked after and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food is served in a cafeteria style and was tasty, plentiful and hot. We attended a corporate day event so didn't see bedrooms. The public rooms were all excellent and well looked after

   Promised a garden view. The room had a view of the car park! We had been there for an hour when a couple of strangers opener our door and started to walk in to our room! They had been given a key to the same room! We had to ask them to go back to reception and find another room! The next morning we returned after breakfast and our key didn't work. We had to call for the duty manager to let us in! There were a few more minor problems. To be fair after writing to the Manager she arranged a full refund. But we won't be going there again.

   Unbelievable value. Super hotel. Amazing building. Superb service and friendliness from staff. Warm and extremely well kept. Fantastic room. Awesome shower. Amazing grounds to walk around. Remote and peaceful location but easy reach of pubs and nearby Newport. Free gym access on this stay, too. Has a little bar area which gets busy. Price of drinks was surprisingly low. No food available in evenings for guests unless on a conference. Had to go to one of the local pubs (The Last Inn) which had some lovely food. I'm coming back here.

   The room was nice but a small bed.. I prefer a larger bed.. Location & grounds are very nice. Breakfast was in a private room that was small & with 10 people sat around them so made for an uncomfortable & cramped setting. Food lukewarm at best.

   Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was good could have included black pudding, which would have been nice. Down side was free WiFi which I could not connect to, reception could give out I structionto new visitors or a card in each room with instructions for WiFi would have helped, otherwise enjoyed my stay there.
