Mary and the team always go above and beyond for everyone. Even when its the GPs fault they still try and help us as much as possible and always checking in on us and other customers just because they go that extra mile. So compliments to the staff that work here please keep up the great work you do.
We visit here regularly to pick up our prescriptions and the staff are always really friendly, knowing a lot of customers by name. They usually process prescriptions fairly fast as well, we definitely made the right choice in selecting them to be our local pharmacy.
2 weeks running they have told me meds I need to stay alive are “unobtainable”. They don’t tell you until it’s too late to try another chemist and, strangely enough, another chemist always has them. Terrifying chemist with zero awareness that meds aren’t optional: they are essential. I wouldn’t stay with this pharmacy if it was the last on Earth.
Absolutely brilliant!! After having issues with Superdrug’s pharmacy in Bitterne, Debbie arranged for an emergency prescription for me as I had run out completely. Debbie was an absolute superstar and I can’t praise her enough! What an absolutely fantastic service! I am beyond happy and have switched to pharmacy direct now! Amazing.
Pharmacy Direct have provided an amazing service over the last few months. I have some difficulties with my health and my mum, bless her, passed away following a long period of a combination of problems. The pharmacy have always dealt with our prescriptions in a most efficient way and always offered sound and accurate advice but since my mum died, the care and support that all the staff at pharmacy Direct in Bitterne have given me is just short of amazing. Their thoughtfulness and compassion raises a tear in my eye just thinking about it! From the kind words of condolences and genuine concern to the shoulder of support and even a hug! Words cannot express how grateful and thankful I am. Thank you to all of them, from my old mum and myself, for being there when I need you and when I didn’t know I needed you. You go way above and beyond
The chap who used to manage this place (Manny?) has moved on and it's clear he is the one who made it run like clockwork. The Staff are now completely overwhelmed. A week after my prescription was put in as urgent, I went in to collect it and saw a very long queue which wasn't moving. No-one greeted or even acknowledged the customers as we entered and waited. The staff were so engrossed in what they were doing that they simply ignored the queue of about 7 people. This has never happened before, it was always so efficiently, professionally run... Everyone was patient, but it's horrible to wait 30 minutes only to be told its not ready. The new lady pharmacist seemed angry at the customers for having the temerity to express their disappointment at the poor service and she told the staff to ignore us. One lady had to leave after waiting approximately 30 minutes without her prescription because her children were in the car... Overall, a terrible experience and I hope they get a good manager in there who cares more about their customers. I shall not be returning. My heart goes out to the ladies who are still there after Manny has left. they were a great team but now it's like the captain has abandoned ship and its sinking.
Have been using this pharmacy for years, Manny was just excellent, knew all by name and always greater them, unfortunately since Xmas he hasn't been seen. The staff their now are quite useless, and recently got prescription wrong, then tried to say that it had changed overnight.
Changed to this chemist a good few years back, and so glad I did. Always greeted with a smile and recognition, which is so nice. The knowledge Manny has is so trustworthy and I appreciate his advice at all times. They are quick and efficient with all my families prescriptions. I highly recommend them, just wish I went there from the start!
