Two years ago Sophie went in with dehydration and loss of appetite. We weren’t too sure what was causing it but it turns out she needed IV fluid, 9 mile is the best place we could’ve taken her to because two years later she’s got more energy than ever before. She’s now 16, due to be 17 in May I could see her going for a few more years. I don’t know what they did to her at that place but they’ve given her a whole new life.

We couldn’t be more impressed. We only moved to Nine Mile vets a couple of years ago after moving nearby and we wish we had moved across sooner. We sadly lost our eldest pup a year ago and just lost our younger almost exactly a year on. Both times, we were able to have open, honest conversations about decisions to be made, have empathy shown and be there with them in a calm, friendly setting when we had to say goodbye. No pressure has ever been placed to make payments in these difficult times, all options were presented clearly and our opinions and thoughts were taken into mind. We are now a dog less home which is devastating but if we do get any fur babies again in the future, we will be coming straight back!

Absolutely wonderful staff and reception. We recently had to put our beloved lab down, which was an utterly heartbreaking mess of emotions, but the way we were treated by Nine Mile was so compassionate and kind that I still well up thinking about it days later. The vet, nurse and even receptionist were not only professional but respectful, giving us time to process it all instead of forcing anyone to make immediate financial or end-of-life decisions; we were also walked through everything very professionally and knew what would happen next at any given time. I wish I had caught the vet’s name who helped us out so I could thank her on behalf of my younger brother as well, who in spite of all the emotions said it even made him consider being a vet, so that he could provide the same sort of peaceful closure to people and their pets. I’m so thankful for the way we were able to wish Summer goodbye in our own time, and I know for a fact she was comfortable the whole way to the end. She was treated not just as an animal, but a being that warranted peace and care. An absolute 5 out of 5 stars.

Hannah and all the lovely people we met there are honestly 10/10. Having used several of other local veterinary clinics Nine Mile is by far the best for service, communication, clarity, quality and friendliness. They have always treated us with the utmost care and having several animals and children we tend to all have to go in and they never mind bringing my chaos in. They’re so lovely to us. Our cat was recently stolen and when found was barely alive, it was heartbreaking for our whole family and thanks to all the staff they refused to give up on him and spent a week in 24 hour care. We were phoned several times a day where they could and were told clearly and honestly what was happening. Their love and care for animals goes far beyond a ‘job’. I seriously couldn’t recommend them enough and have been bragging about them ever since. If you’re wondering whether to use them I sincerely recommend you do, they are the BEST in the area without a doubt!

My daughter and I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 Guinea pigs. All of our animals are looked after by nine mile vet. Staff are professional, knowledgeable, loving and caring, thorough and the list goes on. They act very quickly in an emergency.( Unfortunately we had a few of those). We feel safe bringing our beloved ones in to their care.

Amazing care for my dog. Everything was explained to me before and after the procedure. All the Staff were very pleasant and nothing seemed to be 'too much trouble'. I was so, so grateful for their care.

We have used Nine Mile Vets for well over 20 years, and have never even considered changing. The people there are really nice to deal with, and the veterinary care is beyond professional. Two caveats - it can be difficult to get appointments, and it is far from cheap. That said, I would thoroughly recommend them.

They are skilled, professional and supportive. They even provide a pet taxi service. They accommodated my rabbit for several days (6!) so that she didn't have to go back and forth to my fleet practice. This meant taking up a 'bed' when they might have had even more of an emergency. They are ethical and the priority is the patient not the payment. They try to keep costs down by not keeping the pet longer than they have to. Thanks to the vet Vito for his understanding and expertise, nurses claire and Alice for syringe feeding daisy. It gives me peace of mind when they can take the burden off me. It is expensive but competitive and of course private healthcare. Much appreciated. Lucy and daisy 2020 They have been very good with my rabbit Rosie and her gut stasis. Very supportive and make me feel reassured. The vet’s were: Rosie, Charlotte, Michael and George. Becky, who I knew from ark in fleet is really helpful and patient. Thank you everyone. x
