The room was cold, and the electric heating kept turning itself off. The room temperature was 13 degC when I arrived as the window was open and heating off. I was offered a oil heater radiator but that was difficult to control. There was no WiFi in my room! I tried several times to get it to work but it never did even though I was told the "engineers had checked". The electrics in the room were outdated no USB chargers and no sockets next to the bed. The location got a 5 as I could walk to work. The service got a 4 because I included the team in the Shepherds Rest the pub next door where you get your breakfast. In addition there was a lot of road noise and bright lights shining on my window....not good. I probably wouldn't go back as I didn't get a goodnights sleep on either of the nights I stayed.

Overall pleasant experience. Friendly staff, great food at the adjoining restaurant, comfy enough bed. TV was a tad outdated for anyone looking to enjoy any 'streaming platforms' like netflix in the evening. Happily stay again and not terribly priced

Crumbs in the bed between sheets on arrival at the room. Asked staff to change room but they only provide a change of bed sheets. Hairs in the bathroom on side of toilets, sink....so only very superficially cleaned. Tired looking hotel with moss on roof. The food in the pub, expensive and bad and not to mention the breakfast which was quite poor compared to other Premier inn in the country. We are definitely not coming up.

Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Poor ventilation, was very hot. The toilet didn't flush very well. Shower was great. I felt the breakfast was much too expensive for the variety offered.

Good place for one night sleep, rooms clean, staff friendly, bathroom clean and bathtub big enough even for me ;)

Very clean rooms, comfy bed and nice staff. Stayed for 4 days as attending a course for work and this hotel was cheaper than one offered. Had breakfast as part of deal and was a descent full cooked as well as regular breakfast on offer

I was well pleased how clean the room and bathroom. room was facing to the back there was no road noise whatsoever even window was cracked open. Managed to get decent sleep. Breakfast was lovely too at the pub next to hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay. Also Tesco and Costco literally round the corner with late opening time 11pm ( Tesco ) parking available onsite plenty space all around

Hotel was nice and clean throughout and reception staff friendly and helpful. Room as usual for Premier Inn was very clean and good size with controlled electric heating, no air conditioning which isn't really needed in Scotland..most of the time. Pub next door was nice, good food, and there's a Tesco 5 minutes walk away, again very handy. Only complaint I could have was shower temp was a bit chilly at 8am next morning, a minor issue. All in all an enjoyable stay and happy to recommend.

Its a Premier Inn, so its basic, clean and comfortable - great for an overnight stop on the way somewhere else. Price is reasonable too. Good breakfast restaurant attached to location with cozy pub.
