This used to be a friendly family run chemist..Now it is run by a female that thinks she has the right to make life as awkward as possible if you do not adhere to her petty rules. She can even be bothered to speak to you personally , even when you are a couple of feet away, but conveys everything through he staff.
I'm a regular and have been for a few years. Always good service. No exceptions. The staff are all super helpful irrespective of how busy they get. I wouldn't go elsewhere. A big shout out to the staff Nicky and Zakir and also the Pharmacists Simon and Heather who always make themselves available and have given excellent advice. Thanks so much. You all make a big difference and Im grateful to you all
Always seem happy to help, been in a few times with my kids and a pharmacist is always happy to take a look at a rash or an issue!
The staff were friendly and it was easy to book a free blood pressure check. When my results showed as very high the lady who did the reading was so kind and helped me book a doctors appointment to make sure I was seen. Both her and the pharmacist listened and explained things to me. I think they literally saved my life
Dropped prescription in on Wednesday morning for 3 items (not repeats). Told they were not in stock - may have them later but definitely by the next morning, after 10. Fine - I understand that a pharmacy cannot keep every different medicine in stock. I popped in Wednesday afternoon on the off chance - not in, told the next day but to wait for text message. Thursday afternoon, having not received a text, I called in - no prescription ready and I must wait for text. Friday, same again. Monday, same again. If I had been told it could be 5+ days when I dropped the prescriptions in, I would have made other arrangements but I foolishly believed the staff member when I was told after 10am on Thursday. I would just appreciate some honesty so I can make the decision of whether to go without some vital medication for 5+ days or collect from elsewhere.
yet again disgusting service intimidate u in front of other customers then go outside to look at sumbodys dog thought i wud try it as had this attitude befor judgemental horrible human beings well they not human if u ask me disgracefull il b telling other people too
Rude and uncaring staff, can’t keep track of prescriptions or payments. Saw one member of staff coughing profusely while working without then sanitising their hands. Avoid.
We changed to this chemist for convenience. But I wish now we hadn’t. Rude staff bar one lady. Been told not to order a repeat prescription on a Sunday night and it wouldn’t go in until Monday night when it was put in before 12pm. Given the wrong prescription and to made to feel like it was my fault they had done it. Definitely will be changing pharmacy. Never known a pharmacy like it.
I called in Sat morning after the GP sent over a prescription the day before. I’d had a consultation 3 days previously and so I had already waited a sufficient amount of time to collect my prescription. I was told it wasn’t ready, and that was after a gentleman before me had already been turned away and told to come back on Monday. Why should people be waiting 2/3 days to collect prescriptions that should be fulfilled on the same day? So I challenged them and asked for my prescription so I could take it to another chemist. The pharmacist asked me ‘do you think any other chemist would have these items in stock?’ I went 5 mins up there road and yes, they did have them in stock. Terrible service, changed my preferred chemist now and will not go back. Staff need training in customer service and not make patients feel like they are doing them a favour. 0 stars.
The staff, one member in particular, need some training in customer service. Very bad attitude. Rude unhelpful. Had to collect pain killers for my daughter following a visit to a clinic the evening before. She phoned them in the morning and they said they would be ready after 4 pm! I phoned them just before 4 pm to check they were ready to collect and was told they hadn't received anything from clinic and to check with them. My daughter then rang Hollowood herself and they said they would be ready in 15 minutes?? When I went to collect the tablets for her I can only say... Young lady you need to brush up on your people skills. Rude.
