Whilst on holiday in Dorset our 12 year IRWS Cooper was having breathing problems. We were recommended Cedar vets by Back of Beyond caravan site. Unfortunately it was found he had severe issues with his heart and we had to let him go. The staff from reception to vet to manger were all so.caring and empathetic. They made a heartbreaking situation a little bit easier through their genuine caring attitude. We would highly recommend Alice and her team at Cedar vets.

My dog is not registered here, but Riley has an accident in the forest, and so there was a need for an emergency out of hours visit. Nice people. Sensible advice. Reasonably priced. I would recommend.

It was a shame about this vets and how they went down hill in the last 3 years I used them. Unfortunately after they became part of the CVS Group the service was never the same. They were a nice caring vets before they sold out for bigger things. CVS requires profits more than anything else. I found out this myself when having an annual health check with my cats. The vet checked my cats teeth and told me that he believed that my cats teeth were in early stages of decay and required attention from their specialist team. This could cost me a couple of thousand, knowing of course from my previous records that I had a good insurance pay out record. I said thanks to him for his input and would be in touch. I was in touch I asked them to move my pets records to a new vets. The new vet had told me that my cats teeth were fine and actually in very good condition. I might add that this was over a year ago now and not sure what Cedar vets is like now but I'm really glad I moved to a independently owned small vets. Over a year on my cats teeth are still sparkling bright. Large vets doesn't always mean better. Lesson learned and moved on.

Don't own a dog but needed emergency stitching on a Sunday afternoon. They were calm, efficient and old dog recovering well. Great.

Took my kitten in to get a check up and have her weighed. There was no charge and everyone was so helpful. The nurses all had a cuddle (not with me) and you can tell that they really care about the animals here. Booked in again for the week after for shots.
