Awesome little campsite, good amenities, plenty of space, fantastic views, you can go down to the station watch the trains or go into the main building where they have a viewing area of the restoration shed which was fascinating. Plenty to do for kids, lots of parking, helpful staff that run it and very easy to use.

Nice campsite. Flat pitches, clean facilities, great location next to the watercress line. There was some train noise until quite late at night but that went a problem for us.

We had a bell tent which was ready on our arrival. The site is perfect for a quiet break with grandchildren (especially those that love a steam train as Ropley station is 1 min walk. Facilities were very good, clean and well stocked. Bell tent was a bit expensive but worth every penny for the space and to avoid having to erect and dismantle with 2 small children.

I stayed here last week and I can say it was a very pleasant experience. Hannah the owner was very warm and welcoming, the lodge was spotless and the facilities were great. I would recommend highly to anyone!

I stayed in the Itchen Abbas lodge with my wife, son, and parents. We had a great time. It's a large lodge with plenty of room set next to Ropely station. The facilities were great and it includes a kitchen with lots of utensils, oven and hob, a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer and dryer.

Very warm, comfortable and well equipped chalet. Added bonus of bring right beside the lovely Watercress Tourist Line with steam trains. Also access from the site to Ropley Station.

We stayed for one night at Watercress Lodge, Nice and easy to book online, and when we arrived we just made a call and found a place to camp. It's right next to the Watercress Line so we got to hear the trains shunting early morning. Plus we had a lovely bbq and the stars were beautiful. Although we only saw the staff once, we had their number if there was anyone problems and they answered our questions too. We would love to go again.

Had a very enjoyable stay in the Alresford Lodge. It was very clean and had everything you need for a self catering stay. It was lovely to see the Steam trains too as it is next to Ropley station. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Great campsite with all the facilities you would need. Very tidy and clean as well. Only thing was that person doing the gardening was cutting the grass till 7:45 in the evening which wasn't thst helpful when trying to get little ones to sleep! Overall though a great camping experience and extra bonus of the watercress line so close is great. Daughter loved watching the trains go by and get ready in the morning.

Lovely little campsite, with great facilities. Shower were strong and hot. Its by a small railway, which runs regular steam rally. We thought it would be a bit noisy, but it was a fantastic addition to the camping experience. We also had our 1 year old baby and she wasn't bothered by the trains at all. Surrounded by beautiful countryside.
