lovely little place. but u want find any gravel i looked high n low, pointless taking my bags and dont know what to do about the patches on me driveway. defo leave ya ton bags at home... some nice ducks ere tho
Beautiful with good cycle routes to get here.
Not the nicest nature reserve I've visited, lots of rubbish tipped at the entrance & end of the trail. Lots of noise as next to a very busy road. The lake looked lovely. We had dogs with us, so we were unable to walk all the way round as dogs are not allowed in certain areas. I completely support this as I understand they can disturb wildlife. This did mean we had to turn around & come back the same way as no circular walk if you're taking dogs. The dogs didn't mind as they got a longer walk.
Never knew this place existed. Quite a pleasant place to explore and looks like it could be really nice in spring. They have a wild orchid and other such area in the woodland.
Fantastic place to walk. I love that some is dog friendly and some isn't, meaning we can still walk and enjoy the area with the dogs, but the protected area is kept safe
A hidden gem. Interesting circular path around the gravel pits. Lots of interesting things for children and adults to spot and hear. Use all your senses.
Gorgeous place to visit, I took my Grandbabies on Sunday, they have a pond dipping platform and we spent a happy time dipping and birdwatching. Some beautiful sculptures too. If you like to spend time in nature and keep the children happy then look no further!
This was a hidden gem. Didn't know it existed. Had a lovely couple of hours out in the sunshine. Looking forward to going back when the boardwalk has been repaired
