Great selection of beers, although for someone who prefers the malty ales they fall short there unfortunately. Thir Helles lager is a good choice though. Atmosphere is good, and the food from the bit outside is on point! The Daddy Vladdy poutine is a recommendation for sure.

Honestly incredible! My dad is so fussy and could not find a reason or thing to complain about; even seeked out the chef to compliment! Was worried as one of our table is autistic and struggles with textures but they were more than accommodating and the food was so good he scranned a roast and the 3 people who have a hatred for gravy couldn’t get enough of the stuff! 10/10! We will deffo be back :-) a wonderful memory for remembrance Sunday! Food was to die for, drinks were amazing and so worth the money but again it was mega affordable! Thank you X

Absolutely the best place in Portsmouth. The ladies at the smoke bbq bar are so helpful and friendly. Had a great night.

Great drink variety, however paid for the £18 beef brisket slices with chips, coleslaw and bbq sauce. Didn’t receive the coleslaw and had to go back and ask for it, the beef didn’t really look like anything we have seen on the website or other reviews and the bbq sauce pot was barely filled up (as you can see in the photo) . This came with three slices of beef and chips, however only 2 remaining by the time I took the photo. Had we have known what the food was like on the day, we wouldn’t have spent the £18, a bit disappointing.

Great gig from Ben Ottewell last night, first time at venue and was very impressed. Guy with a big gob at the back threatened to spoil it (not the fault of the singer or the brewery) just a k**b with no respect. Thankfully the crowd made their views evident and he buggered off. Fantastic pint of porter, well done.
