A local and convenient supermarket, with plenty of stock and variety, and has plenty of staff around to help you fi your need it or to serve you at the checkout. Onsite parking is available for free and has plenty of spaces. There is also one toilet provided inside.
Half the time the shelves are empty. Cannot understand why the freezer sections are always out of stock of certain foods whatever day or time you visit.
Generally good prodcuts at cheap prices. (What is it with the carrots though?) But the recent refurbishment has been disasterous for them, I'm afraid. The fruit/ veg fridge went down about a month ago, and they'd only just got it back to fully stocked (the stocking of the shelves seem to be a problem in this store). But I popped in this morning and ffound that the whole newmeat/ fish/ deli fridge is now buggered. This must be costing the store a fortune.
A well stocked supermarket very conveniently situated close to the village centre but with a large carpark. I have visited at various times of the day and have always found it to be well stocked, clean and tidy. Visiting today, Monday at 9am , there were plenty of staff on the shop floor to answer questions and all shelves were well stocked. They are always polite and helpful. I like to browse the middle aisles but go in mainly for food shopping as the prices are very reasonable and the food good quality. They also sell a range of plants and flowers again reasonably priced and good quality.
Environmental disaster...meats and other fresh products are not locally sourced but generally from Germany. Should be using our local butchers like Pullens and Market Green and our greengrocer Hallgate grocery ex Duffills. Support your local businesses and reduce your environmental footprint.
The product I wanted said £2.99 on the shelf, came up £3.49 on the till. The girl on till said nothing could be done about it. Not good.
Great shop,friendly helpful staff.loads of good value items,fresh veg is lovely,bread very fresh.
Great store. Full of products. The carpark is smaller than other Aldi destinations. Nice to see, there is still access to the cleaning sprays/hand gel and tissue. Not that all use these. But COVID is still very much live.
I found the products had seriously increased in price but more worrying the quality had seriously reduced..for instance some grapes and beef were well pass there best
