I’ve had a great experience with Howdens, especially thanks to Emma, who has been incredibly helpful in advising and designing a couple of kitchen projects. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and friendly approach made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. The quality of the kitchens and the level of service have been excellent. Highly recommend!

Jim was super at supporting me to design my bespoke wheelchair accessible kitchen and really helped me to think about every detail. He gave me lots of time and demonstrations, it was clear he knew all his products very well - the team even made a good cuppa tea! My only issue was the step at the front door which made it impossible for me to access the shop without help and I really do prefer to be independent.
Customer service whether over the phone or in branch is fantastic! Never found anything yet the lads can’t help with, I use howdens most weeks and cannot recommend them enough! Product quality is brilliant too! A pleasure to work with as a carpenter!

Put a call into the team today about a dripping tap that was installed 5 years ago , obviously not in warranty anymore, but Pete helped me out by getting an exploded diagram of the tap with a number for the spare part company . The diagram showed me how to take the tap apart and I was able to fix the tap. Pete didn’t need to go to the effort of finishing the diagram and sending it to me , he could of just said “sorry mate but the taps out of warranty and we don’t stock the tap anymore “ I would have been okay with that ! But he made the effort and saved me a couple of hundred ££ on a new tap. GREAT SERVICE THANKS PETE .
I had used this company some years ago on the mainland and thought their product was good and that they were a reputable company however this time I was very disappointed. Although the kitchen design was good the service was not. A back panel for the sink splash-back which cost a few hundred pounds was damaged when the protective film was removed and a shelf was chipped. I was promised a replacement (free of charge) but this no-one ever came to replace it or bothered to contact me about it. Also the 'builder' that I had used turned out to be a cowboy builder with substandard work (for example the sink was not properly fitted, the flooring was incorrectly fitted, the plumbing was leaking etc etc) who left the job unfinished once he knew I knew how bad he was. The fact that Howdens use such a person means that I would be unlikely to ever buy anything from them again regardless of how nice the units actually are because they are not transparent in the way they charge for kitchens going via tradesmen instead of pricing and selling the units like everyone else.
