Been away a while and was wondering if GL was still great, thankfully still amazing as ever, if not better. Familiar face’s still there which was nice, and the food was tasty as ever and great coffee. Large portions and prompt delivery. Definitely still one of the best cafes in town ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
Top marks all round. We had the Marmite mushrooms and Greek salad. Mushrooms was a bit of a risk as I don't like Marnite, but this was lovely! And both poached aggs were cooked to perfection. My partner had the Greek salad and it was all fresh as it could be and full of flavour. Really nice decor and relaxed feel, with .music but not so loud that it becomes annoying like too many other places. An all round great experience, thankyou.
The best granola I’ve ever had! Lovely service, tasty coffees, and a good spot to work from. Delicious cakes too. We’ll definitely be back to keep working our way through the menu
This is the most incredible place for breakfast. Classic lounge breakfast is awesome. The Granola is the best I ever had. Kids got perfectly what they wanted. Coffee is surprisingly delicious. Kids voted 9 out of 10 for the breakfast. We adults gave them a 10.
I’ve eaten here a few times in the past years when visiting the area and have always had great food and service. The selection of cakes is marvellous too and when they’re presented in a glass cabinet it makes them really stand out. It’s a popular place and is always busy.
We visited the place for a breakfast on a Sunday. It was very busy, we had traditional breakfast, so it took a while. It was looking good, kind of small portion but it was really tasty. It is pricey but once in a while doesn't hurt. We would return to try other options.

The Garage Lounge is a great cafe in Southsea that has some delicious cakes and other sweet treats. We had the Biscoff Cookie Pie and a Raspberry and Lemon cake slice. The coffee (espresso) was pretty good too. The venue has a nice and relaxing vibe.
Absolute fave spot for brunch, coffee and cake, or simply to sip a delicious freshly squeezed orange juice while casually doodling! The staff is lovely and the food is always healthy and hearty! Best coffee in the area too - and the soundtrack with jazzy bossa nova really is the cherry on top!
