   The Star Inn is a nice village pub, and there is a wide choice of beer, largers, and cider, but sadly, no hand pulled cask conditioned real ale when I called in. There is a nice bar, a separate dining room, and a games room with a pool table. The pub has accommodation and provides meals. The staff are friendly and welcoming, there is a covered outside seating area and a car park.

   We enjoyed a family Sunday lunch the food was excellent with a choice of roasts Yorkshire puddings and fresh veg, and a choice of sweets. The staff were very friendly and efficient there were 18 of us to serve we will certainly be recommending it to our friends. Thanks to all the staff.

   Great pub with excellent food and service. We tried the Gyro's, the Kofta's and then went back for the Sunday lunch. Food was outstanding with plenty of it. Service was quick, attentive and really friendly. Lovely area out the back to sit and have a drink and a chat with the locals. We had a small baby with us and the owners welcomed him with open arms and it was no hassle whatsoever that he was with us. Would recommend 10/10.

   If you want a traditional Sunday lunch without any pomp then I recommend. Enjoyed a lovely pork dinner and my friend had the beef. Both of us went away very content and in need of a nap afterwards.

   Picked this place to stay as was close to job I was doing . Had a brilliant sleep as was probably the quietest place I've stayed at. Worked all day at job and went in pub for much needed food.. the menu was a lot of Greek food and I was stuck for choice.. ended up getting a chicken gyro meal was worth waiting for and was delicious had a pint afterwards and retired to room and fell asleep.. Nice friendly place and worth a stay

   Stayed here as attending a wedding nearby. Cannot comment on evening meals because of my plans, but breakfast was fine with plenty of options to select from. The rooms were fresh and clean. I had good night's sleep every night. Very helpful people there and nice atmosphere in the bar. Excellent local ales available. I'd go there again.
