   I booked my car in for an engine light diagnostic and clearly explained to the garage that I suspected an issue with the DPF or EGR. When I dropped the car off, I stayed for about 20 minutes and they handed me paperwork showing the same basic code I already knew about. They never put the car on the ramp or carried out any proper checks – just plugged in an OBD scanner. Their diagnosis was completely wrong. I took the car to a different garage the same day, and they correctly identified the issue as faulty EGR, not anything to do with the DPF. Overall, it was a waste of time and money. Very disappointed, and I wouldn’t recommend this garage to anyone looking for a proper diagnostic. I need my refund !!

   First time using these guys. Took car in for MOT. It failed sadly, although car getting on a bit, so not entirely a shock. All necessary remedial works were clearly explained and costed though. Work was done promptly, and communication was good. Car was ready on time, and final bill actually a little less than originally advised. Can't really ask for more than that. Will definitely use again

   Recently used Hookem's Garage for an MOT I urgently needed, I was recommended by another garage that couldn't fit me in. I found the garage very clean, friendly but professional and very competitive prices. I have used them also for another repair since, and will now continue to use these guys!    First time I've used Hookems, read their reviews on line thought would give a try, car had MOT , full service and today had a gear box service, 100% would recommend, from start to finish, customer service spot on, pricing really good and work carried out 100%, going back next month for air con service, even had car picked up and dropped off. Definitely the garage I'll be using moving forward. I would recommend totally

   Ricky was great, easy to deal with and made arrangements that suited me to have the work carried out. I had the reverse camera replaced and the related warning lights cleared. Super quick and efficient and totally happy with the work that was carried out. Will definitely be using him for all future works that I require. 100% recommend Hookem's Garage.

   Had our Mot done here last week as well as getting our boot repaired today and I could not speak more highly of this garage. Its finally nice to have a garage we can go to and use regularly that we know are trustworthy, honest, reliable and good at what they do! We are returning in November woth our other vehicle for mot and have recommended them to all our family and friends. We now won't use another garage they are brilliant and lovely !!!
