Stayed here 2 nights 29th /30th December visiting our daughter who serves in the military and lives down here. Thoroughly enjoyed it staff were very friendly, breakfast was great. Rooms were plenty big enough for us. Beds were comfortable and shower was excellent. Location good , we parked on the road outside £10 for 2 nights you pay at reception and get a ticket. There was quite a few people complaining about the queue at breakfast.....my advice get up earlier. Breakfast starts at 7 so don't arrive at 930 expecting the same service as 7-8 am. We payed £150.00 for 2 nights bed and breakfast for 2 people. A bargain if you ask me. If you want the full 4/5 star treatment book a more luxurious hotel. Don't book a budget hotel and expect 5 star treatment. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay great.

The worst holiday Inn I have ever stayed in. Was in room 208 and made reception aware three times my tv remote was missing and was told housekeeping will replace it. Nothing was done, even left a clear note on the the televison for housekeeping, but this was ignored. The room and hotel is very outdated and poorly maintained. The room was very cold and the heating was not working. The room was also very dirty and dark. Poor lighting, to make it even worse I only had half a curtain in the room, so anyone can see inside your room. It would have been nice to have been told the restaurant was closed on Friday and Saturday evening for Christmas parties. The room is located above the building signage and the lights can keep you up at night. The hotel floors were covered with dirty leftover room service plates and not removed during my stay. I wouldn't be surprised if this hotel had an infestation of rodents. Avoid this hotel, very poor service, quality and standards.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Excellent facilities including Swimming pool, Gym, Sauna and jacuzzi. parking available at £5 overnight, can get busy but permits are provided for road side parking if no parking space is available at the hotel's car park. We were booked in a premium room on the 5th floor with amazing views of Spinnaker Tower. The premium room had complimentary biscuits, drinking chocolate, tea, Pepsi, kit kats and bottled water. there was also a coffee machine and a mini fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us some excellent recommendations for local excursions. This was our third stay at this hotel and will definitely stay here again when visiting Portsmouth.

Hotel seemed to have been updated a bit. Room clean and spacious. Breakfast good but no cornflakes or cranberry juice. We used to get given a bill for us to check on leaving but was tbe forwarded. Received email few days later pressed 'hotel bill' went straight through to IHG website which said contact hotel for bill. Rang hotel was told I had to email them to request copy bill. Why change a system that works. I'm still waiting for bill! Have stayed at this hotel several times before and had no trouble. If this is what us going to happen every time might have to look into staying elsewhere.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms felt very new, clean, and efficient, and I especially appreciated how easy the air conditioning was to use. The staff were absolutely lovely, they even helped by heating up my food for me. The lady who checked me in was amazing, though I didn’t catch her name. Overall, a wonderful experience.

An excellent hotel! What really stands out is the food, though. It is great and even better than it looks on the menu. The buffet breakfast even has a pancake machine with loads of toppings! There is a great selection of foods very clearly arranged. The rooms are good, nothing very special about them. The pool is also alright - it does have a load of noodles and floats which are nice. Overall, good hotel.

Stayed here with my husband and two young sons. Quite expensive and have to pay extra for breakfast but we really enjoyed the heated swimming pool, good facilities..the boys enjoyed playing the fusball table Fantastic location, opposite the beach and only a few minutes walk if catching the hovercraft and only 4 min drive to the Ferry port if travelling to the Isle of wight, which I do often. Overall very happy with our stay.

Stayed as part of a Paultons Park Peppa Pig World weekend. Hotel looks dated from the outside, but the room was excellent. We were allocated a premium family room which was great. Two big single beds, one big double and a sofa. Room included a fridge. We were able to use the pool in the morning which the kids enjoyed. The breakfast was your standard buffet style, but was included in the price so all good. It's a great location and we nipped out for dinner at a really nice Chinese restaurant not too far away. We were in Portsmouth/Southampton for the Great South Run weekend. This hotel is on the route and imagine is a great base for that. Definitely be back when next in the area.

Reception staff lovely on arrival and very helpful. Room was fantastic and had air con beds very comfortable. Meals fantastic as kids free. Right near the beach. Evening staff brilliant! one young male who appeared chatty and went around to speak to children was fantastic. It is nice to see friendly staff that will be happy to help with anything. We loved the pool too where it was the same. Friendly happy staff. Thank you we had a lovely time.
