    My husband and I stayed in Priest Bridge Cottage just last week. Week commencing the 24th June 2024 for 5 days...To start with we had no emails from owner any day before our arrival regarding key code to get into cottage. On arrival there was no host to welcome us or let us into cottage. I waited in car whilst my husband made numerous phone calls and the owner was not answering the phone. A neighbour then kindly gave us a spare key to let ourselves in. Finally the owner phoned and they had FORGOTTEN we were coming and didnt seem to know any of our details regarding what we had paid etc. The cottage was cosy but outdated and when we were there it rained and water was dripping through the ceiling onto the stairs, we phoned the owners only to be told to put a bucket under it and they would get it sorted. The roller blind in front bedroom would not roll down or up, giving no privacy. The back garden was HORRENDOUS, weeds everywhere, broken ceramic cup lying and a chimney with old wood and ash in it (nothing was cleaned out) the sun seats had moss and where as dirty as the garden area. We never saw or heard from the owners during our stay. There was free wifi but we had to chase them up for the code as there was nothing in the cottage. The parking is for one car only. The cottage is in a great location but its a shame about the rest..
