I bought this gorgeous sink unit around this time last year. William was great at keeping in touch and answering all my questions. He was also happy and quick to help me out with a small bit of damage that wasn't EcoTone's fault but my installer's.
Hello everyone reading this review! I made my purchase in December 2024, on the Ecotone handcrafted furniture website hosted by Etsy. Bearing in mind that I had been in the market for a TV stand for months and could not find anything even remotely suitable, I was thrilled when I came across Ecotone Shop hosted by Etsy. My perfect unit caught my attention! I contacted ECOTONE via Etsy messages and William (Will) responded to confirm that the units are "handcrafted to order", this meant I could order the TV unit with the dimensions I required, to fit the location I had earmarked for the new 55" TV bought early last year. Will and I corresponded over the course of a couple weeks, Christmas and New Year got in the way but, bearing in mind that I had waited this long to find the unit I wanted, I was in no rush. We finally agreed on the changes once I had bought the item. He also confirmed that my consumer rights were fully guaranteed despite the numerous changes I had requested and he acted as my adviser for the furniture fittings and I am delighted with their quality. I was happy to pay the was a modest surcharge for the changes. Delivery day came, and when it arrived I was amazed to see how beautiful the finished product looked. Will delivered the unit in person, which was wrapped in protective bubble film. It sat in my home for a while before I could muster the manpower to help me move it into location. It's heavy! I am absolutely thrilled with the quality and finish of this unit, the natural wood compliments my floor boards and, many a visitors to my home have commented how stunning it looks. They all love it and so do I. Thank you Ecotone. When my 30months old granddaughter understands not to deface every item in my home with her artwork, I shall be looking to order a matching coffee table. Thanks again Ecotone! Let me begin by saying we absolutely love our coffee table, it is exactly what we had wanted, and it is beautifully crafted. However, the incredibly poor customer service is the reason for the one star rating. We ordered the table in July, choosing our desired finish and specifying dimensions. While we were promised a three week turnaround, we actually received it five weeks later. The table was beautiful, but unfortunately, was built to the wrong height. We notified the company and they agreed to collect the table and remake to the correct specifications. We advised them that we were having a house warming party a few weeks later and they assured us that the corrected table would be delivered in time. To our disappointment, this did not happen. First we received dates for the table to be collected which were subsequently cancelled at late notice and then rescheduled. The same happened with the delivery. We were given several dates which were then cancelled at shirt notice. The final date being the day of the actual party. We waited in all day and despite us making calls to the office and being reassured that the table would be delivered that day, the table did not arrive. A few days later we were told by the owner that a lack of communication on their end was the reason that we did not receive the table. He confirmed that the table would be delivered the following week, and yet again, this was cancelled at the last minute due to their delivery van having to be elsewhere. After even more emails back and forth the delivery was rescheduled for the following week. The delivery this time did take place, almost three months after we placed the original order. Whenever possible we try to support independent businesses and are normally impressed with their high levels of customer service, however on this ocasión, it seemed that the company simply did not care about the inconvenience being caused to their customer. Despite acknowledging that we were messed around, we have not received any genuine apology or simple gesture for the delay and poor customer service received. I would therefore regrettably be very reluctant to recommend this company.
10/10! Having been looking for a very specific style of furniture for my living room I came across ecotone. They had the pieces I required at a very reasonable price considering they are hand built. I didn’t use the customisation that they offer but based on all my communications I’m sure that these would have been as spectacular as the rest of my order. From completion times, communication to delivery they cannot be faulted. I had difficulty with not being home for delivery so they went out of their way to help, delivering to a prearranged address locally and keeping me informed of the delivery window and arrived with plenty of time. Not only are the products exactly what I was after, they are solid centre pieces with very creative little touches (such as feet to avoid damaging laminate flooring) the customer service was equally as impressive. I intend to purchase from them again when the opportunity arises.
Ordered a shelf from this company after being assured it was in stock and ready to ship. Never received another update from them. After a week I called and they said they'd call back. They didn't. I sent email. They didn't respond. I've tried calling several times since but nobody answers. At which point am I entitled to start thinking this is a scam?
Ordered a beautiful coffee table from these guys of Etsy. Great service and the product was even better than expected. Was delivered during covid in the 3rd lockdown and they were excellent at keeping us up to date with delivery and any possible delays due to changing circumstances. I'll definitely be returning for any future wood based furniture. Amazing craftsmanship.
Will and his team were brilliant making us a superb industrial wardrobe space using iron piping to our design. Everything was done via email and phone including Will tweaking our plans and making sure the build would work. Will was responsive with any queries we had and attended site on day of delivery. Excellent quality build and no hiccups on install. Highly recommend Ecotone - great service and nice people to work with.
Beautiful coffee table - made to measure and hand delivered by EcoToneltd. They are really friendly and helpful and made a fantastic job of the table which looks fantastic in our living room. Will be ordering more furniture in future!
I just had a vanity unit and shelves hand delivered by ecotone. Absolutely made up with the quality and craftsmanship of the items... They are even better in real life! Would 100% recommend. Will is very responsive, professional and clearly passionate about what he does. Thanks ecotone... We hope to be repeat customers soon!
