The Inkerman Tavern is a proper traditional street corner pub. A Decent range of beers, pub games, pool and darts, a stage for live entertainment. Friendly staff a great community pub. Plenty of on street parking. Interesting marine paintings on the outside walls. Check opening times.

Carpet hasn't been hoovered since about 1962. Windows are sealed shut, presumably to stop you escaping your fate here. Toilet seat was broken and loose, causing you to slip and slide around whilst dropping the kids off at the pool. Quite fun and by far the highlight of my experience. Walls were so thin I heard a newborn moth sneeze 5 doors down. Floorboards are creaky and it didn't help that the cast of Grease were practicing their routine above us. Shower randomly goes piping hot on a whim. Still haven't quite worked out what kind of sacrifice is necessary to appease the bathroom gods. Surfaces dirty. Hair left in bed from previous guests when we arrived. Dodgy area with no safe parking. Tiny TV to give you a real cinema experience. Dirty. Very dirty. Overall, don't come here.

Nightmare!!! On industrial estate, no parking, hard beds, loud noisy guests upstairs, very unsecure!!!! Beware very dodgy area indeed park at your own risk, I paid for two nights I left and book somewhere else!! Losing my money, other guests above me heard walking around very loudly as very thin boards creeking. Very dark and dul room depressing, no milk provided for coffee, TV is so small u can't see it, remote broken, aerial on TV broken... please don't stay here your regret it... I couldn't rest here. Dark rooms and terrible not what is described and not like the photos..also the other reviews are FAKE!!! The photos of boats etc isn't here it's on the harbour two miles away. Very bad place I don't usually bother with reviews but this place is dirty with dirty bins out rooms. Don't pay here stay at the travel lodge!

This is a proper local pub and also accommodation. It's spotless clean, very attentive, helpful staff (especially Dianne) it's a down to earth local. The customers are friendly and the beer is good. Well worth a visit.
