   Rooms amongst the worst you could find. Reasonable food, cheap beer, nice staff. Really needs some money spent on the rooms. Broken items, curtain rail hanging off, emergency lighting in communal ares not functioning, mattress not fit for a dog, I could go on but you get the idea. This is what happens in a once great building when owners neglect their responsibilities. Stay somewhere else if you can but enjoy your meal and beer there.

   Stayed here due to location with the Mrs for a wedding. The Room was small. Shower had black mould and bottom of the door rubber seal was filthy. Shower drip mat which was supplied was falling to bits. Bed was like sleeping on concrete. If I was away working and based at Conoco or LOR for £40 a night it may tick a box. However at £60 a night for a couple I wish I had booked the premier inn. Outside was the beer garden area and I did have a pint just the one but the smell of not tobacco meant I did not have a 2nd pint.

   Atmosphere welcoming and friendly and staff helpful but toilet facilities not brill. We were in the front function room and both nearest toilets were out of action. One was the disabled and baby changing unit. I would not have wanted to change my baby in there x
