What a great site. Really busy but the owner squeezed me in. So accommodating. Great facilities, lovely and clean with a heated shower room which was very welcome! Lovely location, quiet and peaceful. Will definitely return.

Absolutely awful campsite, with no lights at all after dark. Shower rooms kept reasonable clean, bins quite often full and overflowing, but the pitch my caravan was put on completely flooded , with another caravanner pointing out to me, there was 6 inches if water surrounding my caravan, and when I got in touch with the owner was given notice to leave.

This is a caravan park, loads of space between units - lots of electric pitches - water close to units - beautiful open setting surrounded by trees. Large undercover area with seating to sit if raining - / 2 x loos, disabled friendly & clean. 2 showers with hot water and central heating / fab facilities

Had a brilliant 4 nights at this campsite. Everything was spot on, toilets and showers were immaculate, and red hot with a lovely warm radiator for the cold mornings. Lovely peaceful surroundings with rabbits and deer in the field. Had a crow visit us every day looking for food. The dog park was amazing and very popular but not over crowded, and the woodland walk was great for dogs too. Sheryl the owner even gave our little dog a pigs ear, which he loved. Five star site, we will be back, thank you.

A brilliant campsite, it was nice and peaceful but also super accommodating for dogs too. Our dog made great use of the memory park. The owner is super friendly and helpful with any questions or queries we had. The shower and toilet facilities were also very good.

This has to be the best campsite on the East Coast. The most wonderful setting with a beautiful lake, wildlife paradise. The hosts are so friendly and ensure your stay is one of the best. Exceptionally well kept grounds and the dog run was a huge bonus, secure and great way to exercise our two cocker poo’ s on a daily basis. Probably cheaper to stay the weekend than hire a dog run for two hours!! Although a few fellow campers were on the site still felt very quiet. Will be visiting again and again very soon, might request a lake side premium pitch next time. Thanks

Sheryl is a fantastic hostess. Beautiful site, really accommodating. Love the little kitchen area with outside bench. The off-lead dog park was superb, my staffy would give it 10 stars! Great site, felt very comfortable and safe. I unexpectedly had to extend my stay due to an issue with my van and Sheryl was very understanding. Loved seeing all the wildlife pottering about, and on a clear night the stars look sublime as there is no light pollution. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and would love to stay here again if I’m ever back in the area.

We arrived at Woodlake campsite for the first time over the weekend we arrived to a very friendly welcome by the owner Cheryl. She explained everything and told us to pick a pitch which we did. It was a lovely clean and tidy site with toilets and showers if you don't want to use your own facilities. There was a good dog field also where the dogs could run around safely. We had a couple of lovely peaceful nights at the adults only site and will certainly be returning. There was some geese on site and plenty of birds around who was fed frequently. Thanks again Cheryl we'll be back again in the not to distant future see you soon Paul and Diane Harris

Just got home from a week at this lovely peaceful site. Our 3 dogs loved the fenced in enclosure, A safe place for our 15yr old dog who is deaf and doesn't see as well as she used to, to Potter and enjoy. Clean, tidy, well maintained site. Nice lake to walk round. Sheryl and Roy, the owners, work hard to keep it this way. Lovely extras for campers too. All in all a top class site. Will definitely be returning.

What an absolutely brilliant camp site. Owners (Sheryl & Roy) couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating to us, upon arrival. Both very nice, kind and friendly people. Lovely walks on and direct from site, to Mappleton Beach, Hornsea & New Ellerby. Great cycling to. One thing we really enjoyed was the complete peace and quiet and lovely constant hot water, in the showers and washing up area. Our dogs also had a great time. We initially had only booked to stay 3 x nights, but ended up staying 11 x nights. Only one small thing, the site is 5 hours away from us, however, this won't stop us. Well worth the trek. We will definitely be returning very soon. Thank-you to you both for our most enjoyable stay.
