Amazing so much to see and do! Loved the Avery, wooded walk, bandstand and anchor. I walked round the boating lake - good to see still had water in and the fountains were trying their best! Lots of side of the road parking, toilets always a plus!

Lovely park to visit for a few hours during the school holidays. Well maintained in comparison to others locally. A few animals to see, including meerkats, two areas for the kids to play (outdoor exercise equipment and kids play area). A large lake and lots of green space.

Nice park area for strolling with the pooch . Meerkats and aviary are interesting, had to walk round the outside edge as dogs are not allowed with the fenced area. Still managed to see everything in the aviary. Plenty of areas outside the park to park the car. Little paths lead off in different directions. Letting you discover hidden gems like the small pond. Open grass areas allow freedom for the dogs. Beware though, there is an abundance of wild birds. Lots of young ones at the time we went and the adult birds can become very defensive. Large lake to walk around too. A nice way to spend an hour or so.

Pickering Park is a wonderful place to visit with family and dogs. Its lush greenery makes it a perfect spot to relax. The park features walking paths, ponds, bird-watching areas, playgrounds, and open spaces. It’s great for children, too, with so many birds to see. If you enjoy fishing, you’ll find that opportunity here as well.

A lovely park to take our 2 year old granddaughter to. Lots of grass to run and kick a ball in. A lovely choice of imaginative rides for toddlers up to Juniors. Finally, the marvellous Meerkats and a small animal centre with planned activities from time to time.

It's nice place for visit with family or just alone, for rest from city loud life. Here plenty place for walk with a dog, run or just enjoy of nature. Here also is a place where kids can play, a same time parents have time just for yourself. I recommend this place for visit and enjoy.
