   Waited patiently to be served today, wasn't acknowledged for the first few mins, only one customer waiting, 3 staff working. No friendly welcome. Waited in total 26min for my prescription which was meant to be ready on Friday last week... This wasn't the first time this has happened. It doesn't hurt to give some friendly customer service, if there's a problem with a prescription then just a bit of communication with the customer wouldn't hurt. I did speak to a member of staff but found her response quite rude, no apology for the waiting time.

   Today I went to see the pharmacist to ask how to treat an insect bite I'd got and as soon as he saw it he said it's infected you need antibiotics ring 111 tell them I said that,so I did and eventually went to beverlerly acute care place saw a doctor who said it was infected and gave antibiotics ,so thanks to the pharmacist in boots thorngumbald x

   I only gave one star because no stars was not an option. My GP said they had sent the electronic prescription and it would be there when I got there so I went to Boots who said they had not received it but if it comes thru on later in the day they should have it in after 11.30 and to collect before 1pm on 22 October I went back to the GPs who said it definitely had been sent so I drove back to Boots in Thorngumbald who said they did not have it. So I went back to the GP and asked for a green script which I took back to Boots in Thorngumbald who said they will order now but that they could not guarantee they would have a pharmacist on 22 October so would not be able to hand it out (that was a little nugget they had omitted to tell me on the 2 previous visits Boots in Hedon who gave me what they had and said they would let me have the remainder of the order in 22 October. Boots should be ashamed of themselves they claim to offer a service but this is an empty promise. I know there is a shortage of pharmacists but not to tell staff in advance if they can get a pharmacist is appalling and clearly they DO NOT support
