    William gemmell is a social club with a public bar lounge and sports room for pool and snooker. I found it clean and the staff are friendly and well presented. To the rear of the main building is a large function room for normal weeks entertainment. Also, this room is available for hire and It could easily accommodate 100+ guests. A large stage is also available for music groups etc. A large car park is available to the rear for off road parking and disabled access. All in all, an excellent venue for all your nights entertainment.

    Popped in for a couple beers before heading to MKM Stadium. Nothing special here, think an old working man’s club. A small selection of beers. Was fairly full at the time, mainly City supporters, service was good & a good atmosphere.

    Only go in on rugby days. The ladies behind the bar are lovely and so friendly. Get a good pint. There always seems to be a good atmosphere around the place. They seem to have plenty of entertainment for the nights pity I don't live nearer.

    Lovely place but double gin an tonic is 8 40 the dearest in hull thats 2 40 dearer than town centre we pay between 5 and 6 pound in town love to know why its that much dearer than town for the same drink
