Booked for a Sunday evening and was surprised at how busy it was. The food was excellent. My wife had the carverine. She enjoyed that service. Was excellent for a very busy Sunday evening. Will definitely come back here again when in Chichester

We had our wake at the Nags Head on 13th November and couldn't fault it. We had the buffet listed on the website and the hot food/pizza/sandwiches were fabulous. The pub provided a quiet area of the pub for our wake for which there was no extra charge. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend for a wake. Excellent service.

Excellent room with great shower over bath, although friends travelling with us had a much smaller room. Breakfast freshly cooked to a really good standard. Good evening meal choice, again beautifully cooked. Great atmosphere in the bar , prices competitive. This was our first time in Chichester, a lovely choice of independent shops, and a bonus of being only 6 miles from the (Repair shop) Weald and Downland museum. The Weald museum is definitely worth a visit.

I stayed one night in May at the pub. The room was nice and clean and I had lunch, dinner and breakfast, which were all very good. The location is fine for visiting the town and Cathedral. I was arriving by train and walked to the hotel with a trolley. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. A great choice if you're travelling on your own: Lots of people in the restaurant and the pub.

The carvery was quite a treat! Very good quality and well prepared meat, clearly a talented chef! There was plenty of selection for the vegetables, and the Yorkshire pudding was huge as well as crispy. Overall, I felt it was good value for money.

Food was amazing, I had the carvery & have to say it's one of the best I've ever had! Then to make the meal even better I had cheesecake for dessert & that was fantastic too, so delicious & really different too. Great service, great atmosphere, lovely pub, would highly recommend to all

Great service and fantastic food. We were looking for somewhere to have a quick bite and decided to try The Nag's Head. We parked in the carpark just at the rear entrance (very convenient, but council owned, so there is a charge) and liked the look of the pub/restaurant/carvery. Service was excellent, super friendly staff who were very attentive. We chose the BBQ Baby Back Ribs (x2) and kids tomato & cheese pasta. Ribs were delicious, large portion, lots of meat and cooked well. Kids pasta was very well presented and loved by Belle (aged 3.5). Overall a lovely visit and would definitely love a repeat visit.

Just came to Chichester to drop our daughter back to uni. Needed somewhere to eat and the Nags Head was recommended. Perfect position as you can just park in the car park and walk straight into their back entrance. Sausage and Mash (best we’ve ever had) and a fish and chips which was equally as tasty!! What a great find, we’ll eat here each time we come down!! Lovely staff as well and very reasonable prices. THANKS!
