   I just wanted to give these a nice review as I came over from Leeds to buy a fish today - if you want some larger specimens (which are always very hard to find) this is a really good place to come. I got a very nice synspilum and the price was excellent, as was the customer service. For those with larger tanks I’d say this is worth the journey. Thanks once again and also thank you for correctly packaging the fish for me in a polystyrene box, he was just as lively when he got home and is clearly a very healthy fish. Also the shopkeeper made a really good recommendation, if you do transport fish reasonably long distances a portable/USB powered air pump is a great idea for welfare, I didn’t know they made such a thing so hopefully this is useful to someone. Also if you’re in the area check out Octopus8 as they recommended this place to me, their selection of tropical fish is comparatively quite limited but I appreciate the honest advice and recommendation of a solid local business.

   every time we go into the shop nothing is to much either advice or finding a specific fish or species . they are always very informative and make you feel so welcome. honestly cant recommend Frisby enough. This evening me and my daughter popped in after school mainly for some live foods but she explained we had lost one of our guppys recently we was shown some stunning A grade pairs we couldn't resist so they was quickly acquired . all in all a great experience every time. the prices are more then fair but its more the knowledge that comes with it. we will be back once the new tank is ready for fish also thanks for our little albino plec ;)

   I can really appreciate the effort being put in here. But there are so many tanks cobbled together and massively overstocked (Overstocked for a Aquatic stockist) that I genuinely felt sorry for most of the fish here, for instance, Stingrays should not be housed in a tank this small even at half the size these ones were - Let alone be in with the many other large fish in this particular tank. But its a similar story in all the tanks here. Fish selection was fairly good for a shop this size, but general upkeep and decor was either lacking or nonexistent. I can truly appreciate how difficult this industry is as an independent and I can see the work that goes into this place, however I can't get over the tiny tank sizes with very large fish, and the general lack of tank upkeep to rate this place higher.
