“**RGU Union: A Life-Changing Hub of Opportunity** Stepping into the vibrant, bustling halls of RGU Union is like entering a world of endless possibilities. As a student at Robert Gordon University, I've had the privilege of experiencing firsthand the transformative power of this dynamic institution. RGU Union isn't just a place to grab a coffee or attend events; it's a life-changing hub where students can grow, thrive, and shape their futures. One of the most striking aspects of RGU Union is its inclusive atmosphere. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're greeted with warmth and acceptance. Whether you're a first-year student finding your footing or a seasoned senior embarking on new adventures, there's a sense of camaraderie that permeates every corner of the Union. It's a place where diversity is celebrated, and everyone is encouraged to embrace their unique identity. At the heart of RGU Union lies a commitment to student success. From academic support services to career development opportunities, the Union offers a wealth of resources to help students excel both inside and outside the classroom. The Student Help Point provides guidance on everything from course registration to housing assistance, ensuring that no student feels lost or overwhelmed. Meanwhile, the Career Development Centre offers workshops, networking events, and one-on-one coaching to help students launch their careers with confidence. But RGU Union isn't just about academics; it's also a hub of creativity and innovation. The Union's state-of-the-art facilities, including the Gray's School of Art and the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture & Built Environment, provide students with the tools they need to bring their ideas to life. Whether you're honing your craft in the studio or collaborating with peers on a design project, there's a palpable energy of creativity that fuels every endeavor. Of course, no review of RGU Union would be complete without mentioning its vibrant social scene. From lively pub nights to themed parties and cultural events, there's always something exciting happening at the Union. Whether you're unwinding after a long day of classes or making new friends over a game of pool, the Union provides countless opportunities to connect with your peers and make memories that will last a lifetime. But perhaps the most transformative aspect of RGU Union is its sense of community. Beyond the lectures and assignments, beyond the extracurricular activities and social events, the Union is a place where lifelong friendships are forged and bonds are strengthened. It's a place where you'll find mentors who will inspire you, classmates who will challenge you, and friends who will support you through every triumph and tribulation. In conclusion, RGU Union is more than just a student union; it's a life-changing institution that empowers students to reach their full potential. With its inclusive atmosphere, comprehensive support services, and vibrant community, the Union truly is a hub of opportunity where students can grow, thrive, and transform their lives. As a proud member of the RGU community, I can say with confidence that the Union has had a profound impact on my college experience, and I'm grateful for the countless memories and friendships it has given me.”

“If you’re dreaming of taking to the skies and happen to be in northeast Scotland, Alexander Air is the place to start. Based at Aberdeen Airport, this flight school gives you the rare experience of flying in and out of controlled airspace, which means you’ll get valuable interaction with Air ATC. It’s not always smooth sailing when operating out of a busy airport, but that exposure is an incredible advantage for anyone serious about aviation. As for Alex himself, he’s the real deal. Yes, he’s a strict instructor, and at first, that might feel a little intimidating. But trust me, there’s no better pilot to learn from. Alex has a way of making you feel completely safe while pushing you to become the best pilot you can be. He’s all about precision, discipline, and developing skills that stick with you for life. I was lucky enough to be part of the Alexander Air “family” for a while before moving to England and finishing my course elsewhere. Even now, though, I can tell you the training I got from Alex stands out. It’s the best feeling when other pilots notice your skills and ask, “Who taught you to fly?” My answer is always the same: “Alex, of course.””
“This is the University of Aberdeen Language Centre, language centre”
“I rang up at 8pm on the day of wanting to check in, in hope they’d have an apartment left for 3 guests, as another local apartment (Aldephi Suites...warning) had let us down last minute by rejecting the guests due to them being 20 years old and demanding they were to suddenly put an extra £500 deposit down which was never mentioned until further phone calls after growing obvious concerns on their behalf about the guests...after being left outside the apartment for over 4+ hours after arriving I was then on the phone to Expedia for a couple hours to try resolve the issue in order to make sure my partner and friends had somewhere safe to stay...(deeply upsetting and frustrating experience). So in a panic of my partner and his friends being left stranded on the streets, I rang up Thistle Apartments in hope they would have room...of which they did. Not only did the sympathise with my experience they ensured me they’d match the price of the other apartment and make sure my guests (as I wasn’t present) were checked in and all okay. I believe it was Lucas who dealt with myself and the group and I cannot thank him enough. He has been so utterly kind and I hope more guests choose to stay with them! Plus the apartment is gorgeous from what I’ve seen on the videos my partner has sent me! Thank you so much.”
“Fab classes, great confidence boosters, & the shows are amazing.”
