“Excellent customer service from 2 young men working on 9th Jul 2024 at 15.15. First young man was standing in entrance area, by computer screen ready to take our order. He punched the details in himself (was in to order a Titan petrol lawnmower) and then proceeded to collect the lawnmower from the storage area. I hardly had time to open my purse, when the guy at the till asked how I would like to pay. I left the shop, to reverse my car towards the main door - and as I was doing so, the till man was already standing at the door, with the lawnmower in his arms, ready to manhandle it into my car. These two young men helped, without being asked. They were very pleasant, smiling and joking. We were in the shop for 5 or 6 minutes. Amazing service guys. Ten out of ten. Well done.”

“I chose HHI (Glengormley Branch) to install new guttering, sills, sofit, end caps etc plus a new door. They quoted 7 weeks lead time and the whole job was completed in 6. We are over the moon and the quality, fit and finish is top drawer. Installers were quick efficient and friendly and we kept them supplied with hot drinks during a freezing week in January. Importantly they were also very tidy, no mess left behind. Quality Job”

“I started a self build/renovation in April 2021, a project which has grown arms and legs. I had originally been shopping around with local building suppliers, but soon found MacBlair Larne to be the most competitive with pricing and easiest to deal with. Taking on a extensive renovation of a 125 year old property as a total novice has its challenges, but John Quinn from the Larne branch has been helping me every step of the way. Any questions I have about the materials John is happy to answer, he is excellent at taking time to explain the best way of doing things and what materials I need to get the job done. Our renovation is being filmed as part of BBC series “Restoration Rescue” which has added an extra element of stress to an already stressful project. There has been a number of occasions where I have needed materials at short notice for filming days, and all I have to do is pick up the phone and John is able to get it sorted. Deliveries arrive within a matter of hours, and the drivers are happy to set them in a spot convenient to myself. The guys in the yard also deserve a mention as they are absolute champions. They are always there to give me a hand loading materials, no matter what the weather.”

He recommended moving the toilet and basin which I had never thought of which was brilliant.
