“Attended a Church conference nearby and needed a last minute room after a late finish. The staff Luke and Paul made sure I felt safe on a Sunday evening in a city I didn't know. The rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfast had plenty of good options. Will recommend to those I travel with in the future.”

“The name is a bit misleading as it's your standard barbers rather than what a "Saloon" might suggest. But if you're after a fast and fairly priced haircut this is definitely one I can recommend. He does exactly what you ask for and is efficient (but not rushing). As mentioned in other reviews, realistically no parking right outside. You can park easily and for free in Theodore Close which is about a two minute walk away. Or the Temple grounds which is around a 5 minutes trek.”

“Great Service, Even for "Just Looking"! We visited our local(ish) DFS today and, although it was quite busy, the team still made time for us—even though we were "just looking". A manager greeted us initially, but once Michelle became available, she took over and we were in excellent hands. Michelle is amazing at what she does - she has a real eye for detail and design. Between her and my wife, they debated colours and styles while I sat back and watched the magic happen! In the end, we found a great 4-seater sofa, an armchair, and a pouffe. What started as a casual browse turned into us walking away with a finance deal (pay in 4 years) that probably costs me less per month than I usually spend on random stuff in Home Bargains! The only downside is that the finance site was down when we got home, which made things a bit stressful, but the in-store process itself was smooth and straightforward. Massive shoutout to Michelle—she really made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. Thanks again!”

“Second visit to Pinky’s today. Last time it was for my daughter’s firsts and I was so impressed that I returned to have my thirds done. Pinky is just amazing! She is so professional and yet so friendly and approachable. Even though she has probably seen dozens of other clients that day she really makes you feel like her only customer. We had a lovely chat and she even gave me some advice on some old piercings. I really wouldn’t even entertain going anywhere else. I highly recommend!”

“I struggled for too many years to remember to find either a salon or a stylist that I fully trusted with my hair. Having frizzy/curly/wavy hair, no one ever really knew how to deal with it. I consistently looked like my granny! And then I found Rio, on the recommendation of someone and I haven’t looked back! In fact I go as often as I can, the team are awesome and I trust all of them to wash, cut and style it and Hannah & Katie are fab colourists. I have had all shades of red for many years but recently took advice and I’m now purple and pink…happy days. And it is a place that is filled with fun and love. “If your after a great trim by a high quality, professional and welcoming barber. Then you can’t get no better then the sid brothers. Honestly best hair cut you will get by two of the most talented barbers going. I haven’t met one unhappy customer. Everyone who enters the chair feels like they are getting the best. I’ve used them for a long time now and I don’t get my hair cut every two weeks it’s always closer to a month between cuts and every time I leave I feel fresh but I get treated like I’m in the shop every week the brothers remember you and how you like your hair and I honestly couldn’t recommend a better barber shop. I even take my nephew who is 5 here and they are great with him! Really are brilliant. I would rather wait till I can get to there shop then go anywhere else and they take you from scruff to looking the best you can look.”
