The selection of other dishes was very pleasant and good contrasting flavours. I'd certainly recommend Maekong Thai for a relaxed meal. The meal with drinks was £40 each in July 2025 and was excellent value.”

The breakfast here is fantastic - hearty and satisfying without being greasy like typical breakfast spots. The staff were really welcoming, though the atmosphere that day was a bit mixed due to some grumpy fellow diners - but hey, that's not the restaurant's fault! “Where to start this gem? From the website, the ordering process was super easy. But the kids loved the look of the food and wanted to go in, so we booked and headed over. Lots of parking near by. Walked into the restaurant and it was a very nice atmosphere. We were greeted quickly, lewis and Minnie went above and beyond throughout our entire visit. The kids were spoken to by each server, which they loved. The food was amazing. The OG Burger is mouth watering good! The pizza's are so moreish! We quickly ordered and the food arrived very quickly. It was cooked beautifully and full of flavour. The owner popped by and asked how we found the food, we told him it was amazing. The kids took interest in the oven, I explained how it worked. But Minnie and the owner got them involved in a pizza making session. It was do heart warming. The kids loved it. The business is run professionally and without any hiccups. The food tastes amazing. They've gained a customer for life now. If it isn't me, it definitely is my kids. Thank you so much to all of the team. What a wholesome and enjoyable experience.”

“This used to be Spice Valley, and I avoided Spice Valley unless friends insisted I went for a birthday celebration. It has been taken over and is totally different and has a name change to reflect this. The food is regional Indian food, cooked to a very high standard and tasty with layers of flavour. I had soft shell crabs for the first time in my 65+yrs' life. They were awesome. If you are a bit adventurous with your food, then I suggest you try them. I then had lamb with Okra (ladies' fingers) and spicy rice. The lamb was lovely and tender, and not tough like it is in some curry houses where they rush the cooking and you get tough chewy lamb. The spicy rice had a touch of heat but was flavoursome and well worth eating. At a lot of Inian/Asian restaurants. I can't be bothered to eat all the meal and take some home in a doggy bag. No chance of that in this restaurant. I polished off the lot. This new venture is well worth supporting, unlike its predecessor. I will be returning.”

“I have had takeaways from Little Bengal (originally New Dilshad) for nearly twenty years. In this time, it has gone though several changes (different staff, different decor) but the food and the service has always been consistently amazing. It's unfortunate that some people have one bad experience (usually related to delivery) and feel the need to immediately leave a bad review. I have never had a problem in the past when having food delivered, however I haven't used the delivery service for over 2 years. Pick up times are always reasonable and the food is always worth any waiting for anyway! In comparison to other similar takeaways, Little Bengal have always got the winning place in terms of flavour, portion size and menu options. I have tried a fair few things from them over the years and I've never disliked anything! The samosas are nice and crispy, the curries are all individual from one another and a million miles from bland, the rice is perfectly separated and packed full of flavour, the breads are all fantastic and never disappoint. I recommend the stuffed paratha but naan breads are equally amazing. The chicken is always plentiful and cooked to perfection every time. The chef's here are out of this world, in my humble opinion! They also do kebabs like no other! I mean, actual kebabs (not the usual that you would find locally alongside battered fish). These are definitely worth a try. They have a few options and you get a whole naan bread, salad and chips. The quality and flavour is hard to find elsewhere. The price, I understand, is average for the area, although I don't really go anywhere else so not really qualified to comment! Portion sizes and quality make it worth every penny. Thank you Little Bengal, for all the lovely meals I've had over the years!”
