Their pizza here doesn't taste like rubber because they use better quality cheese for example. The prices are almost half of the other pizza places in Rugby. Also very sociable staff and very welcoming. Everyone should try this place and see for themselves”

“We Met up with my Mum and partner here today (20th November) for my birthday and we had an excellent experience, everyone enjoyed their food as a party of 4 and the waiter was an absolute asset to the place. Service was excellent, the food was served in good time and the place was lovely and clean with a great atmosphere. “I visited Giggling Squid recently with my husband for my birthday lunch, and it was such a lovely experience. I’ve been a few times before and always loved both the food and the beautiful decor, and this visit was just as enjoyable. The restaurant was nice and quiet, with only a handful of people dining, so we were seated in a comfy booth which felt extra special. Our waiter was fantastic! So friendly, chatty, and welcoming, he really made us feel looked after. The food was absolutely delicious (as always) and arrived quickly. I love the tapas menu at lunchtime! It means you can try different plates and enjoy lots of flavours. Everything about the visit felt relaxed and enjoyable, and it made for a perfect birthday treat. We’ll definitely be back again!”

“A cozy pizza place with quirky art and many vegetarian options I had a vegetarian meal at this pizza place and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of food. The restaurant has a cozy and pleasant atmosphere, with quirky and funny art pieces on the walls that made me smile. Firstly, I ordered the chargrilled vegetable pizza, which had peppers, onions, mushrooms, and aubergine on a crispy crust. The pizza was served on a wooden chopping board, which gave it a rustic feel. The onions were nicely caramelized and the cheese was pleasantly strong. Secondly, I ordered the jalapeño poppers, which were cheese-filled peppers coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried. The jalapeño poppers were crunchy and cheesy, but they were not spicy at all, which I was surprised about. I expected them to have some kick to them. Thirdly, I ordered a mock Pina colada as a drink, which was a change from my usual latte. The mock Pina colada was refreshing and creamy, with a fruity taste of pineapple and coconut. It was definitely a worthy substitution. The service was friendly and fast, and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at this pizza place and I would recommend it to anyone who loves pizza and quirky art. It’s a great place to have a fun and relaxing meal with friends or family.”

“Had a fabulous meal last weekend for our wedding anniversary. I booked a table and mentioned that it was for an anniversary, and they reserved their best window table for us and provided a vase of artificial roses for the table. Our waitress gave us sone complimentary crackers and a complimentary assortment of ice cream and sorbet. Our waitress Nat, was so lovely and really made our evening feel special. The food was delicious and the restaurant is very pretty. Staff were all friendly and we weren't rushed at all, we were made to feel special and had a lovely experience.”

“I arranged the works Christmas Party here with the marque out the back for 62 people. From start to finish Rohan was brilliant, answered any questions around dietary requirements etc i had quickly and amended the booking on numerous occasions due to people dropping out last min. The marque was set up lovely, the food was great and everyone commented on how big the portions were, nobody went home hungry! A big shout out to all the staff and Rohan they were all really attentive throughout the evening and couldn't fault anyone. Would highly recommend anyone having there Christmas party here!”

“Not the best food, but not the worst. The local is small and cozy, also atmosphere is really good. I had a lasagne, but I cannot say was very tasty, I heard pizza is really good, which I will try next time. Overall service is good, also refreshments.”

“Came for the art; stayed for the drink! I'm a big fan of Katie O Art, so I had to go and see her latest work. Absolutely beautiful piece of work, as always. Whilst I was there, I stayed for a drink, as it would be rude not to. The staff were friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the drink was spot on. Looking around, I could see this place was filled with a friendly atmosphere, and I can see why this place is popular. I'll have to come back again, and soon!”

“Excellent hotpot place that is very reasonable for the price. Even the buffet items alone are worth the price and really delicious! Really enjoyed the cold chicken (salad) and braised pork belly. You get a lot for your money and all the hotpot items are fresh and tasty. I recommend the hand-pulled noodles, quail eggs, cuttlefish and marbled beef! Don’t forget the fried sesame rice ball for a sweet snack! Staff are very patient and kind and will explain thoroughly if it’s your first time at the restaurant”

“Amazing coffee and pastries. They have an excellent balance of flavours of sponge, milk cream, butter, walnut, chocolate... Instead of just sugar. I'm quite confident that all pastries are hand made, they are as tasty are they look. The atmosphere is intimate and comfy, like you would expect from a southern European café.”

“We were a party of 4 with no booking but this wasn't an issue. We were welcomed at the door and all staff were polite and attentive. A great choice of food on the menu and so I chose the Kathmandu option with garlic fried rice which was delicious. The naan bread was amongst the best I've ever had. We shared 2 bottles of the house red, a merlot, and we all agreed how good it was. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you have a meal here.”

“I’ve tried ET grill for the first time and possibly first restaurant in Coventry and honestly didn’t expect to get such amazing food. Once I sat down, a delicious Turkish bread, two types of sauces and olives immediately served for free. Then I tried one of the most famous Turkish dishes which is the mixed grills that came with three skewers as shown in the photos. In general, I highly recommend this restaurant if we are looking for a good value for money and delicious food.”

Even more impressive as they have eaten all over the world and eaten at the best places in and around Hong Kong, a Mecca for foodies and many countries around the world. “First time visiting tamarind after seeing a review in the paper about the restaurant winning an award. Took the missus last night and both of us agreed that this was the best lamb bhuna we've ever had. Food was amazing. Staff were amazing and the place was buzzing with a great atmosphere. It was well worth the 20 min drive from coventry. Tamarind will 100% be our go to from now on.”
