“A popular real ale pub with friendly and welcoming staff. A great range of beers including those from the Derby Brewing Company. We also had some of their burgers, which were very tasty and pretty good value. It's also very conveniently located near the city centre”

“I come from Colorado in the States, the land of craft breweries. We literally are the top state for breweries in the US. For the last 30 years, since uni, I have been drinking microbrews. Shiny Tap is legit! I had the 4 Wood Cask Bitter. Absolutely brilliant. Smooth, easy drinking. Then had the Double Damson. If you aren't used to a sour, haven't had one, try it. Wow. Very impressed. Outdoor seating area is tops.”

Ordered from a lot of other places before which has never really gave me the wow factor but this place is best of the best. Black pudding is to die for, I could eat a plate full of it. The delivery drivers are extremely polite and not just the type just to dump the food on the doorstep. Not the cheapest however its all high class food. Customer for life. Gav”
