“I just got out today after nearly a week . The staff/ nurses that look after me were brilliant. I had a really bad time and was ill. The surgeon operated on me 3 times. I was on ward 18 and every single member of staff were brilliant. Really looked after. From the domestic nurses surgeon were all brilliant. Work under so much pressure. Thank you”

“Ian came to replace sockets and light switches for us. I informed Ian that I had bought the items and only required fitting. Unfortunately I didn't buy the correct ones!!! Ian explained why some of the ones I bought werent suitable and managed to source the correct ones and managed to complete the work. For which I was very grateful. Ian did a great job and cost was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Ian and will definately use this company again.”

“I appreciate the negative reviews and I have read several. I may be fortunate.. But I have used the practice since October 2023 and have found the staff with the odd exception to be really nice and helpful. When dealing with members of the public, it can be a very stressful time - patient and staff members. But when the Scottish Government are attempting to run the NHS with Lemon Money and are delusional in thinking that it does not need Champagne Money - neither wonder the Country is in such a run down state.”

“I ask for a emergency appointment and got one the same day . It was even with my normal dentist. The receptionist was lovely who took my call. The dentist went out her way to clean my teeth and give me an xray. She even should me the xray. When leaving the reception staff were very friendly and even wished me a nice holiday. What a great experience . Thanks”

“Can't recommend Jason enough. Electric boiler packed in on us. As it's a somewhat rare model, I went through a list of companies who said they couldn't help. I was starting to worry. Luckily found Ecotec and Jason said "give me a boiler and I'll fix it". Wasn't the most straightforward of repairs as there were a few separate issues and I was worried I'd be in for a full new boiler but true to his word he didn't stop til it was back working better than it ever did since we moved in. The gaff is toasty again and I know who I'll call in the future for any help with it!”

“I’ve had four recent visits to Carmondean Medical Group and telephone appointment to discuss my results and each time the care has been outstanding. The first time, I called around 8:15 a.m. with some symptoms I’d had for a day or two. I expected to see a DN, but the receptionist advised I’d need to see a doctor instead. I was given a same-day appointment for 10:30 a.m. with Dr. Newell, who was amazing—so kind and thorough. I got my prescription, and everything was handled efficiently. A few days later, the pain was still there. I called again, got seen quickly, and my prescription was changed. During my follow-up, I was supported every step of the way. Unfortunately, I later had an allergic reaction and was struggling to breathe. I called around 5 p.m. and got a quick call back from a doctor, who asked me to come in for a 5:30 appointment. This time I saw Dr. Gray, who was also lovely and reassuring. The entire team—from the receptionists to the nurses and doctors—has been fantastic. After some difficult experiences with other practices in the past, Carmondean Medical Group truly stands out. You all deserve 5 stars. Thank you for everything!”

“I am a new patient at Howden Health Centre, granted it is difficult to get an appointment which i assume is purely down to the number of patients they have ,however i would like to say this. Today I attended an appointment with the Nurse, her name is Shanna, i cannot thank her enough. Shanna is extremely knowledgeable and skilled within her field. Shanna was very thorough with going over my previous blood results and answered any questions i had. Shanna is certainly an asset to this Medical Practice along with being, in my opinion a very valuable member of the NHS.
