“Great to get support & advice from exceptional senior lecturers”
“This is a good facility which has Italian beginners class in an eight week block at night. The learning is fun and the instructor is engaging. Gives an insight to both the language and the Italian culture. Would love to have further classes to build on the knowledge gained here.”
“Found John the tutor very friendly and helpful, thanks for your patience John, found the course quite educational”
“Great place to go to take a year out, study God's and be equipped to do God's work in God's world.”
“I was a member of the University of Glasgow Sports Centre for about two years, and looking back, I genuinely appreciate how lucky we were to train there. While there were areas that could use refurbishment – such as the male changing rooms on the 3rd floor and occasional issues with the sauna and steam room – the overall offering was nothing short of world class. The gym featured ELEIKO plates, proper strength training equipment, and an incredible 14 or so squat platforms. Yes – that many, and all of them from ESP. That alone puts it far above most commercial gyms. And all of this was available at a fraction of the price you'd pay elsewhere. In London or the surrounding areas, you'd need to shell out around £250 per month at a place like David Lloyd to get access to similar facilities – if you can find them at all. So to any students, staff, or members of the public currently training there: make the most of it. The University of Glasgow Sports Centre is a serious facility, and you may not realise how special it is until you move away.”
“Nice building, excellent service”
“At the age of 28 and being a mum of a 4 year old I decided to go back to college to start a journey I wanted to do for years. I was worried that I would struggle to balance my studies and home life, but ultimately it was the best decision I have ever made. I am now fully qualified after 2 years and have managed to secured a job within my field. It’s never too late to study and all the staff at WCS have been amazing. My lecturers were compassionate, understanding and supportive throughout.”
“The decor is cozy and the location is convenient!”
“Great place. Hands on experience and staff will do their best to aid and help you. Very understanding teachers and it accommodates everyone. Campus access might not allow wheelchair users, but unlike the other reviewer, being dyslexic will not hinder your experience here. New campus building is also very nice and overall it is a very welcoming and friendly environment that strives for learning and work.”
“Woodside House has been a fantastic place to stay during my time in Glasgow. The rooms are comfortable, with all essential facilities included, and the management team is incredibly helpful, addressing any issues or concerns, no matter how small. Their prompt support and friendly demeanor create a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. I’ve had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend Woodside House to anyone looking for a stress-free and comfortable stay in Glasgow!”
“I went there this morning to Arnold Clark M O T centre. My car went through an oil inspection that had to be look at. It got fixed and got a new oil filter put on. So on waiting on my car I walked around College Milton, taking photos of all the work places and stopped for a roll and sausage and a coffee and as I got to the end approaching Arnold Clark M O T centre a got a call saying my car was ready. Yeee haaa. Good Timing. Ya Dancing Bear. Cool. Then homeward bound. Hope you like my photos. Thank you.”
“Fantastic views of the river, and lovely river walk.”
“Beautiful converted building, tourist street views only, no internal access”
“On June 20th, 2023, my children and I had the pleasure of visiting GIC in Glasgow. During our visit, we were accompanied by a UofG student who provided us with a comprehensive campus tour, including the dormitory. The experience was truly remarkable and left a lasting impression. I am hopeful that my children will have the opportunity to attend GIC and continue their education at UofG in the coming year. Thank you for the wonderful experience.”
