“Fantastic to have the surgery back to providing all treatments. All the staff I've met are lovely... very helpful, friendly and offering a great service. Adil in particular has given me lots of professional advice and explained every step of my treatment. He was very thorough and wanted it to be the best it could be which was much appreciated. He willingly answered my many questions too. First class patient service. Thank you.”

“My appointment was at the Endoscopy Unit. I got lost at first and ended up in the wrong part of the hospital. A woman at a desk saw me looking confused. She was not from the endoscopy unit but from a department nearby. Instead of just pointing, she stopped everything she was doing and walked with me all the way there. She kept talking to me, laughing about how the signs could confuse anyone, just to make me feel better. I was really touched by this. As it turned out, that was just the start. The whole team at the Endoscopy Unit seemed to work together in a special way. One nurse noticed that English is not my first language and immediately started speaking very slowly and clearly. She was so warm and made me laugh more than a few times. She helped me with all the forms, reading them with such energy it didn’t feel like it was her thousandth time doing it. I was a bit nervous during the procedure as it was my first time. The nurse focused on making me feel at ease. I must have asked a million questions, one after another, but her goal was clearly my comfort. She answered every single one with a smile and so much compassion. Her incredible patience is what made the difference, and I felt so calm that I barely touched the Entonox. The endoscopist was fantastic. It was not just her skill, she found a complicated polyp that isn't easy to see, but also her dedication. She took the time to explain her plan, not just for now but for my future check-ups, to make sure I would stay healthy. This showed me she truly cared about the outcome. And it did not end there. The nurse who explained my aftercare was the same. She had infinite patience with all my clumsy questions, the ones I asked just to be sure I understood everything. She just kept offering ideas to help, never showing any sign of being tired or annoyed. It was not just about one person being the best. It was about seeing a perfect team where everyone collaborated to make me feel safe. You get the feeling that these people truly love what they do. That they are here helping people because it is their passion. The whole day, they made eye contact, asked me things that weren’t just on a form, and listened like my answers mattered. It felt like they were taking care of a family member. The kindness was real and constant. If you’re reading this and feeling a bit on edge about your procedure, I hope my comment puts you at ease. I walked away with nothing but trust and admiration for this team.”

“Honestly had the best experience with this surgery. I was so nervous moving to a north lanarkshire surgery especially in cumbernauld where i have heard a lot of horror stories. I had just had my first baby and registered here. They have been super quick with appointments for me and my son. The doctor has called me out of hours to reassure me my results were normal. Seen my baby anytime ive had concerns. The reception staff have also been majorly kind and taken an interest in my son amd always been reassuring and went above and beyond to insure i have got off he phone with an appointment that suits my needs. Ive also attended a breast feeding class in here which as lovely The nurses ive met have also even really nice too.”

“I took ill with a water infection when staying at my daughter’s home. She had been rushed into A and E the previous evening and I was looking after her 1 year and 3 year old. The receptionist was very helpful, as I live in England I needed to get a temporary residence form. About two hours later, a lovely doctor phoned and told me that he had written out a prescription for antibiotics and I could pick it up immediately . Got to chemist and got antibiotics and hopefully will start feeling better soon. I can’t fault the service this practice gave a non resident patient. Thank you.”
