Smiths were excellent at dealing with our dietary requirements and gave us ample space in the restaurant for comfortable eating as we had two babies in prams. Delighted we chose to spend our special day here and will return.”

“A really cosy welcoming atmosphere. Just had a coffee and millionaire shortbread and both were absolutely delicious. The lady is so lovely and helpful. It’s obviously a place with loads of regulars as she seemed to know everybody’s order as well as asking after their families etc. which is always a good sign. So nice to have a proper local cafe. “Came to Angels last week with my daughter and husband for breakfast. Was served by Ola and wow what a service. She was very attentive, kind and took the time to speak with myself and my daughter, who is four. What a lovely, kind woman and this is the reason I’ll be back. Kindness is hard to find these day, and Ola gave this in abundance. Breakfast was excellent-love the new brunch menu! Can’t wait to come back again!”

“It’s a Costa, what’s not to like. Plenty of car parking and I’m here at the supposed peak time and it is not too busy. I have experienced a friendlier welcome at Costa in other branches and the furniture looks rather tired. The shop is lacking atmosphere, but I think that is because it is one of the prefab square buildings thrown up as a potential retail outlet and then a coffee shop out inside. It lacks intimacy or a care for detail in how it is laid out. However, I am sure the chain knows exactly what it is doing and it will be laid out on a cookie cutter model that is known to work. Certainly can’t fault anything much. Nice coffee.”
