“Came to Angels last week with my daughter and husband for breakfast. Was served by Ola and wow what a service. She was very attentive, kind and took the time to speak with myself and my daughter, who is four. What a lovely, kind woman and this is the reason I’ll be back. Kindness is hard to find these day, and Ola gave this in abundance. Breakfast was excellent-love the new brunch menu! Can’t wait to come back again!”

“Got two munchies boxes and they were packed full of really nice food. As I only had my debit card with me, I had to pay for food by bank transfer, which wasn't an issue. Would defo buy from there again.”

“Food was excellent. I would highly recommend any of their steaks. The seat I was sitting at which was near the air conditioning unit was a little chilly. I asked the staff to turn it down and they did. Service was good. Atmosphere was pleasant, although a little dark and there was no lamp, so it was challenging to read the menu. I asked for a lamp which was provided. Any issue I had was solved immediately.”

“This has been around as long as I can remember, such friendly and welcoming staff. Never disappointed with the food, aubergine pakora is fantastic! Delicious food - highly recommend the goanese dishes, special Korma & saffron chicken. Been for years and its consistently good.”

“Management are making great inroads to improving this hotel and restaurant. We recently attended the restaurant for a 90th birthday bash and all 10 of us enjoyed the food from the wide selection on offer. The toilets were very clean. The waiters were very attentive and efficient, also the prices were very reasonable will defo be back.”

“We were given 4 free cakes today as they felt we had had a long wait. It was a bit longer than last time but we all ordered hot food and we weren't complaining. It's such simple but great customer service like this that makes me return to good businesses. So refreshing to feel like a valued customer when so many get it wrong these days! Thank you!”

“Redstones Hotel Uddingston is a modern, comfortable hotel, bar & restaurant. From the menu you can choose from either a very generous side order to an extremely tasty main meal with a good choice of desserts. Prices were reasonable & the bar/restaurant area where we dined was immaculate! Covid-19 precautions were inplace throughout, i.e the wearing of face coverings, social distancing & hand sanitiser. The staff were very friendly & helpful, service with a smile! You can just walk-in or if you prefer, you can book in advance, which I would suggest doing so Friday-Sunday. There are spacious washrooms for all abilities. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful garden with outdoor heating & lighting surrounding the many benches & tables, lovely to Sit outside even in the colder weather. Would recommend a visit, even if just for the hot chocolate!”

“The name which is a district of Hong Kong puts some folk off and means they miss trying this very good Chinese takeaway. The fact its thriving after over 3 decades with the same name and owners, while dozens of others locally have come and gone should be enough evidence for anyone moving to the area to give it a go.”

“Good local takeaway. This Chinese fast food restaurant offers good Chinese food and salt and chilli munchy boxes. Have used this place many times and have had no complaints.”

“Always very fast, excellent food. The happy meal deal is brilliant value. Some dishes marked as spicy are more bland than expected but food overall is very tasty. The best salt and chilli dishes around by county miles!!”

“Great chinese been using it for years and nobody in the area can match there food beef / chicken breast curry is amazing and there gravy sauce is the best I've tasted i love the salt and chilli ribs also there pancake rolls are so good there's nothing I've ever had that I could say wasn't good.... lovely staff and fast delivery from friendly drivers”

“Rooms are in need of a refresh but still kept clean and had a lovely sleep. Gave it 5 stars even if it isn’t as new and fresh looking as some of the other premier inns I have stayed in as the staff were wonderful and friendly.”
