“I recently collected some cupcakes for a birthday from your little tea room. They were cookie monster ones, they were fantastic, they were lovely. You so often get them from large chain stores and they're heavy and tasteless. Yours were very light and beautiful. Even the bright blue icing was tasty. They looked brilliant, I collected them not knowing what I was picking up. I had a smile all the way home and long after.... I actually felt bad for eating them, it was a shame to do so. I'm glad I did. Brilliant, thank you very much...”
“bought 2 cans of coke, they asked for £1.15, gave them £1 and pulled out the 15p, they didn't even ask for the 15p, so I only paid £1. cashiers haven't done maths since 1744”
“Discovered this place whilst out driving. Excellent service Great tasting sandwiches Full to the brim and thensuasgae rolls was really good!”
“Quick shop got all my products what I needed and still served quickly even though it was busy. Reasonably priced goods. Just wish Aldi would start doing home deliveries.”
“Absolutely blown away by the service! Our waitress, a vibrant redhead with the energy of a Broadway star, was nothing short of amazing. She zipped around the restaurant like lightning—every table checked on with perfect timing. But what really made the experience unforgettable? She sang her way through the day! Humming little tunes, belting out a few cheerful notes between tables—it was like being served by the lead in a musical. Her joy was infectious, and it lifted the whole atmosphere. You can tell she’s the owner as she was doing pretty much every job going! Five stars, easily. Can’t wait to come back!”
“Really handy. A little more expensive than your usual shop but that’s to be expected due to convenience. Staff are always really helpful and friendly.”
“Always good stuff in Iceland, easy to fill up the freezer and the check out person was super quick - just take it steady with the trollies as the corners are a bit tight!”
“Called in this morning because they have started offering Gluten free. Order was taken quickly by a helpful and cheery lady, food is cooked to order, none of this reheated stuff. Wide choice on the menu, and will be offering the Government discount scheme too. A very pleasant breakfast trip.”
“My sandwich took me back to being a kid. I live in airedale and travel to cutsyke just for a sandwich. Does anyone know why they are temporarily closed?”
“Great pub fab music and the landlady is amazing”
“The gentleman (I know his name but, unsure as to how to spell it) that works there everyday, is amazing, I couldn't ask more from him. He's so very, very helpful. He has brought any of my shopping to my home after the shop closes, if I can't manage to carry it all. As I'm chronically ill, he won't let me carry my basket, around the shop if it's starting to fill up. He truly is an amazing guy. There needs to be more people in this world like him. Thank you so much for all your kindness towards me, It means such a lot to me....”
“Nice store. Can get a busy but is still capable of making sure everything runs smoothly and people buy what they need”
“Great place. "Most" staff are nice and friendly. Always stocked up. Great for little shops.”
“Recently just opened as it used to be the one stop. Great little place to stop off at on your way to and from the motorway. Have everything you could possible want at decent prices and often have special deals. Plenty of parking and staff are lovely definitely recommend this place”
“Ideally situated just before you get on the bottom at the bottom of Castleford Road in Normanton. Also straight across from Snack Attack so while waiting for your breakfast you can nip over the road for your newspaper!”
