“I plucked out Newport Land & Law from a Google Search and contacted them based on their previous good reviews. I required solicitors to handle our house purchase in England whilst we were selling our house in Scotland (2 different legal systems). I initially spoke with Anna Newport (boss) who confirmed they had the capacity to take on the job and provided us with a very reasonable quote. Once onboarded, we had the lovely Axsa who went above and beyond (even calling at 7pm with news and updates) to carry out the seemingly impossible and ensured the exchange and completion on the house we were buying occurred on the same day as the exchange and completion on our house in Scotland - and kept us fully updated whilst we were following the removals truck 400 miles down the road! Plus, she dealt with a less than helpful vendor's solicitor in the process! I cannot recommend Newport Land & Law enough and will certainly be coming to them for any legal requirements now we are in England. P.S. Anna's out-of-office email was worth the fee alone! :)”
