“We dined at the Dog & Hedgehog as a spur of the moment Sunday lunch out. We called ahead to check availability (table for 2) and the friendly staff were able to fit us without any issues. The Sunday lunch menu had a very large selection of main meals to choose from including the traditional Sunday roast with a great choice of meats. The Sunday roast was well presented and accompanied by a selection of seasonal vegetables and cauliflower cheese, which was AMAZING! Every element of the dish was delicious, in particular the meat was plentiful, perfectly cooked and well carved.”

I always come away from here feeling better than when I arrived. It gets busy at the weekends, particularly on a sunny day. So if you prefer a livlier atmosphere, go at the weekend. The lady who ran the workshop was very encouraging and patient and Tony and the other lady who run the place were very polite and friendly.
