“We booked the private field at Larton’s for a big group of us and unfortunately there was a mix up with times, meaning we were almost all turned away without the dogs getting a chance to play. Luckily an excellent staff member ran around and rectified the situation for us so we still got our time in the private field, really going above and beyond our expectations. “Took my 2 year old Dwarf hamster for an emergency on the day appointment for a possible impacted cheek pouch. We saw Dr. R Davies and he spent a great deal of time examining his patient to ensure he got the correct diagnosis. He figured out it was a case of my hamster not being able to empty his pouch on his own and proceeded to empty it for him using a manual intervention. This was entirely successful much to the relief of both my hamster and myself. He also saw there was a lump on his head that I never noticed, which proved how in-depth his examination was and went through possible treatment plans. I must commend Dr Davies on his professional expertise and also the manner in which he handled my pet and myself. Also can I add how lovely the receptionist was who greeted me and put me at ease. If your hamster suffers from a possible impacted pouch too, you must ensure you get this seen to immediately by a trained professional. I highly recommend this practice for their expertise, availability and great value for money.”

“Recently attended A and E as a patient. Very impressed with the new location and set up. Very organised with several waiting areas, vast improvement from previous A and E. Well organised and efficient, all staff i came into contact with were professional and polite. Waiting time was acceptable, one should accept that this a busy A and E dealing with hundreds of walk in patients . Patience is the watch word . To me the wait is more than acceptable when considering the high work load . I was admitted as an in patient firstly to Majors ward and then to ward 32 . Throughout my stay i was impressed by the professional and polite attitude by all members of staff i came into contact with and the high standards of care. I found the ward very clean and well maintained a credit to all. A vast improvement from the last time i had cause to visit the hospital as a patient several years ago Peter veevers”
“I’m not sure how this place gets negative reviews, yes there’s long waiting lists but that’s the NHS. I have a phobia of the dentist and I’ve always been felt so reassured by whoever has done my appointment. Thank you to Edward today for performing a miracle and fixing my infected tooth when I thought I’d never get rid of the pain!”
