“Can't beat a small friendly, family run pet shop. The are so welcoming knowledgeable and caring. May times they have looked out for my dog while I have popped quickly into other shops. “We booked the private field at Larton’s for a big group of us and unfortunately there was a mix up with times, meaning we were almost all turned away without the dogs getting a chance to play. Luckily an excellent staff member ran around and rectified the situation for us so we still got our time in the private field, really going above and beyond our expectations. “We have been taking our dogs here for a few years. They are happy to go and we are happy with the way they are cared for. The fact we can take their own food means no upset tummies when we get them back. We also take their own bedding and toys. We get a small discount for 2 in a bed and for our own food. Their accommodation is big and heated when needed. Hayley and Mike and their staff are professional but very friendly. Our 5 dogs love them and we highly recommend them.”

“Great place to exercise your dog. Always tidy and well presented and most importantly - secure. Unlike many dog parks, the field is well drained so even after heavy rain the field is usable without getting in a real mess”

“The help and customer service that I received from the 2 gents was second to none! I called at 16.30pm on Bonfire night to find out what they had to help my dog cope with the fireworks. They informed me that they were just closing (they close an hour early on Bonfire Night, NYE etc to tend to their own dogs/pets) but if I could get there asap, they would wait. When I got there, they had a few products waiting and gave me a full rundown of how each of them worked. Following a personal recommendation (which was actually the cheaper product) I took home the product 'Fireworks'. Homeopathic based drops that could be given orally or in his water bowl. They explained, thoroughly, how to use it and the results spoke for themselves. With a little help from some cuddles and TV, my boy didn't even know it was bonfire night!!! I couldn't recommend this place more!!! Thank you so so much!!! The pictures say more than I ever could!! Thank you from myself and Khan (Age 10) x”

“Perfect fit and it arrived just one day after receiving an email letting me know that it had been shipped I'm yet to test it out but installation is really easy and straight forward I just used some isopropyl alcohol to the plastic before sticking down the adhesive velcro”

“Absolutely top advice, our kids have the most unique choice in pets and we were really drawing a blank and where to get Vampire crabs from and how to look after them etc etc....... so we popped into Andy's Aquatics and unbelievably they are setting up a section just for different types of pet such as vampire crabs. The guy on the counter (guessing it's Andy) was brilliant really really informative helpful and told us he'd have the section all up and running shortly. As we are not really looking to do it till next year we will pop back in and deal directly with Andy's Aquatics as to doing it online. If you're after something a little "out there" you'd be daft not to give these guys a little visit....... Chances are they'll have exactly what you need or are great at giving advise! Seemingly with no agenda get get you to part with your cash unlike other places. Thanks again for your help so far”

“Staff were lovely. My 3 dogs were all groomed beautifully. The price was very reasonable. There are a few cafes nearby if you want to have a coffee while you wait. Only annoying thing about this stretch of road is the very limited parking.”

“Our Guinea Pigs were well looked after by Alison & Andy and they had a nail trim too. Large enclosure for the Guinea pigs to go in and received daily pictures and updates.”

“Karen at Pawesome Walkies has been a life saver for us and our 2 dogs. The dogs absolutely love the pack walks and come back happy and ready for a snooze, and Karen treats them as if they are her own - they absolutely love her! I often have to request last minute changes due to a busy job and Karen is always flexible and tries to help, even last minute. Also having Tori as brilliant holiday cover is a massive bonus - there has never been a time I have been left in the lurch with a cancelled walk and 2 dogs sat at home alone all day. They really care about the well being of the animals and go above and beyond to make sure they are happy”

Dry goods, pumps and filters galore. Great selection of marine dry goods and livestock. Pond fish and plants are second to non with over 12 species of pond fish on sale. Large choice of pond pumps and filters. Very reasonable prices & are more than happy to price match. If you’ve not visited before, it’s well worth a look. Expert advice is all areas”
