“Well kept, lovely and spacious park. Lots of events, clearly excellent ranger team. Café food is basic but nice enough for a quick pit stop, the prices are very affordable, cafe staff are lovely and efficient. Definitely recommend visiting here. The only negative is that on event days the toilets by the cafe are not cleaned and stocked frequently enough so can be unpleasant. On a normal day they are a bit dated but clean.”

“The sort of venue that I wish existed when I was a kid. Loads of pitches, all in great nick. Also has a decent bar with televisions for watching a game whilst you're watching a game.”

“We visited last week for our 'mini uk' honeymoon we had a beautiful stay for 3 nights in the view. The yurt was spotless, the hot tub was pre lit to perfect temperature for arrival. The view and surroundings was beautiful everything we expected from the photos online and more! We visit the new tiki bar and had a few of the delicious cocktails whilst chatting to other holiday makers. We was served by 'Nathan? Apologies if we have the name wrong but he was great! Chatty, welcoming and perfect for the job! And made great drinks! We would be sure to come back and bring our children to experince the tree house for an anniversary.”

“Thought to try yummies as had been on a huge walk and didn't want to cook ordered 16' pepperoni pizza a larhe chips and a portion of hot wings and got a free garlic bread oh my goodness the best pizza ever and garlic bread the hot wings were cooked to perfection as well as the pizza and garlic bread only fault is the chips weren't crispy but that's fine they still got eaten as they were hot and fresh will definitely be ordering amd I just wish they were open later”

“Great for walks, full of wildlife (woodpeckers, owls, toads). It connects to the Tawd Valley Park at the bottom of the Clough. Please be aware that there is soft sinking mud down towards the bottom just off from the path, there used to be warning sign posts, but think they have rotted and became unrecognisable over time. New housing estate is encroaching towards the Clough from the side. Hopefully, this won't take away from its beauty.”

“This is a wonderful Clough in the heart of Skelmersdale. The smell of wild garlic from April to June is amazing. There's a great waterfall there but due to a severe lack of rain over the past month it's not running very fast. My kids absolutely loved it there today!”
