“I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal so much. I ate three courses of which the starter and main were huge portions but I couldn't stop as they were all so delicious and ate the lot. My dessert was basically ice cream with a rich toffee sauce and digestive biscuits crumblings over it, just enough to finish my meal off and all washed down with 2 glasses of house Merlot.”

“We had a great experience at slug and lettuce with George & Kashmira serving us. They were very attentive and always bringing new drinks when we had finished. “Love how the 2 for £14 cocktails dont have to be the same . We tried a few of the cocktails but have to say the Caribbean dream and bubble gum pop was our favourite. The lady behind the bar was amazing and so friendly . Plenty of board games and even monopoly … love how they have paper on the table to draw on”

“We loved every single moment . The staff made christmas delightful without the stresses of cooking and dishes . It was our 1st time eating out on christmas day and will for sure 100% be back next year ! We didn't have any issues, though, a few comments to be made regarding choices for the gluten-free menu, which I have raised already with GK, though it didn't dampen our days . The 0% was a delightful treat, and we were so glad we felt like we were 100% enjoying the christmas spirits . All snr staff were happy and delightful as always . Id 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone and especially if you're thinking of eating out christmas day !”
