“Staying locally for work at the local studios. We found Paolo's on Google. Arrived, seen to very quickly. Lovely young lad serving us (Elli - shout out). The owner and his wife were in the restaurant. Very friendly, chatty, polite, courteous, accommodating and overall lovely. We had beers and wine to drink - no complaints, all good. Now on to the main subject matter: the food. Very good. Well above average. Recommendable. We are from London, so have eaten at many Italian restaurants. Paolo's is in the top 3 I can think of. What we had as outstanding, furthermore. We will likely go back again tonight. The bill was £130 for numerous starters, mains, sides and alcoholic drinks. Like I said; no complaints. Thanks for looking after us - see you again soon!!”

“Service was great, very nice/helpful staff. The food was very good, we had a Groupon for the afternoon tea and it's one of the best we've been to, I especially liked the salmon tataki sandwiches and the cheesecake, definitely recommend. Came back again for dinner and we had small plates, all of them were great. Especially liked the mushroom arancini and the crispy salmon tacos. The chicken bao bun was amazing too, would suggest if the bao could make 2 smaller ones instead of one large then easier to share.”

“I have been a patient at the Harley House dental practice for 10 years. This is a family orientated practice conveniently located in Borehamwood. The premise is very clean and well updated and all the staff are lovely and welcoming. Dr Ash Vora has been my dentist for this time. He has an excellent manner with patients and has the ability to put a nervous patient at ease. Dr Ash Vora also has fantastic clinical skills and expertise. He is able to expertly diagnose dental problems and treat effectively, he will only treat when there is a need but he will also provide a holistic solution if there is one. Recently Dr Ash referred me to his Endodontist colleague at the same practice and I had a seamless experience with a root canal treatment. I would highly recommend this dental practice and could not think of going elsewhere!”

“The staff is very warm and welcoming. I had a very lovely experience with all of my treatments there. Ellie did a great job with my hair and toned it to the exact shade I asked her too. Absolutely loved her blow dry. Rain was very good with her facial and Anna gave me very professional gel nails and pedicure. “We moved to Next Level last year after spending 9 years at another academy, and honestly, my daughter has made more progress in the last 6 months here than in the previous 3 years elsewhere. This is entirely thanks to the incredible teaching staff. From day one, Nikki has been amazing—assessing my daughter, guiding us to the right class, and helping us choose the best swimming activities (and they have plenty!). The late evening classes are brilliant—no traffic, no rushing around. The water polo camp was a real highlight—well organised, affordable, and so much fun for the kids. My daughter learned new skills, made friends, and couldn’t wait to go back each day. One thing that really stands out is how attentive the teachers are. They watch the kids constantly, guide them, and truly listen to them. My daughter absolutely loves going, leaves every lesson with a big smile, and can’t wait to tell me what she’s learned. Parents can also watch the classes, and the teachers are always approachable if you need to speak to them. Communication is excellent—you receive detailed progress reports, but you can also just have a friendly chat with the staff. They are incredibly encouraging and supportive of the kids. “Recently reopened under a new management team, Linger & Taste is a fantastic spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. We went for breakfast this morning, and were greeted by a friendly team, quick and attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is well priced, ample portions and exactly what you should expect from a casual breakfast spot. They have the traditional British breakfast combinations, as well as omelettes, smoothies, and other lighter options. Value for money is perfect. I would definitely come back and would be excited to try lunch or dinner menu options.”
