“Living in Notting Hill, you’re spoiled for choice of nurseries. I toured every one and my decision was easy. Being in Ladbroke Square Montessori feels like a warm hug. You can literally feel the joy exuding from the place. The children are engaged and thoughtful and most importantly thrilled to be there. The school truly puts children first. Offering every child a morning spot is a perfect example of this since most children are still napping when they start nursery. The lovely garden in the back and weekly visits to the gorgeous Ladbroke Square are two amazing perks. My daughter is actually disappointed on weekends because she is not going to nursery. She’s learned key skills and is set up for success to have a smooth transition to reception. I have made lifelong friends there as well as my children. I have now sent 2 children to nursery at Ladbroke Square. Best decision I ever made. It’s such a special place.”

“The Oak Montessori is the most unbelievable nursery and we feel so lucky to have both our children attend. Our little girl started at 2 and is about the go into to primary school and our little boy Felix (2) started recently and they couldn’t be happier. The teachers are the most nurturing people, with unparalleled experience with children and the Montessori ways. The knowledge they have about theory and practices within the education space is incredible. The combination of indoor and forest school makes this a really special setting and the environment they have is a true delight. We couldn’t recommend them more highly.”

“Eastbury farm school is a place where my 3 children feel safe. It's a place where the teaching is second to none. The dedication of the new head Miss Workman and her leadership team is refreshing and I can only see things improving here. The recent results are proof of that. I love the school and everything about it, from the well mannered children to the lovely playground atmosphere. Not to mention the fabulous fundraisers! Don't let the Ofsted report put you off. Come and see the school and speak to the staff parents and children and then make your choice. It will be well worth it.”

“Our little child started nursery when he was 11months old and had a quite complex heart condition. The compassion and determination from the Boys and Girls Nursery Stanmore to cater for his complexities and ensure they could take our son on was brilliant. Even before he started they went over and beyond to speak to all of the healthcare professionals to ensure that they could fully cater for our sons needs. From Amy and Chloe and Sharon for all the admin things to get him over the line. From Rachel and team in nursery where they got him turning over (even though he was months delayed) to then crawling and walking. To then Lisa/ Amelia and team in pre-toddlers post his operations helping him build the strength to do all of the activities and become a chatter box. To then Sinead and team in toddlers to then prep him to join his new school. We cannot thank you all enough for your efforts, we as a family are truly grateful and happy that Boys and Girls Nursery was his first academic home.”

“Smart Play is very good nursery. A lot of educational programs for children, a good attitude of teachers towards children. A pleasant and cozy environment. My two kids attended Smart Play. Son(2018-2020y) and daughter just graduated ( 2022-2024y) My children and me love all the Smart Play staff a lot. I can confidently and happily recommend Smart Play to other parents.”

“**I highly recommend Pramukh Kids Montessori.** As newcomers to the UK, we were searching for the right nursery for our 3.5-year-old daughter. From the very beginning, the owners, Vijay and Srivalli, were incredibly supportive and responsive. Not only did they help us secure a place quickly, but they also took the time to walk us through the UK’s universal funding system—something we knew very little about. A special thanks to Vijay for his personal guidance and time. The nursery itself is exceptional. The environment is warm and welcoming, the facilities are modern and impeccably clean, and the staff are caring and professional. Our daughter absolutely loved her time there and settled in beautifully. Unfortunately, we had to move to another borough and couldn’t continue with them, but for anyone living nearby, I couldn’t recommend Pramukh Kids Montessori enough. It’s a wonderful place for young children to learn, grow, and thrive.”

The staff are caring, patient, and attentive even during her early settling-in and recent illness. Every day is packed with creative play, emotional learning, and genuine joy. They celebrate each child’s background and make families feel supported. My daughter always excited to go to nursery! means that she is enjoying and love being with her friends and teachers. “We have two boys at Cybertots and we (and they!) absolutely love it. Everyday they are running inside from excitement, the staff is amazing and very involved. For us it was also very important that Cybertots has a great space for developing, playing ánd playing outside. Super happy to provide 5 stars, its the least we can do for the superb experience of our kids.”

““Kindred Nursery is the best in the area! The nursery manager is very supportive and accommodating, and the staff are amazing. My child struggled to settle in a previous nursery, but here he quickly felt comfortable and was happily staying for 5 hours. He absolutely loves his teachers, especially Kezia, and the whole team is wonderful. Truly the best experience we could ask for!””

“The process of settling our child was amazing. He settled immediately into the setting and the teachers took his needs as a foremost consideration. The teachers he has had in the past 9 months have been outstanding and the care he has received has been as close to what we as parents would give. The meals offered are simply amazing! He loves the variety offered to him and has never complained once about it. The management is very flexible and accommodating to parents in terms of extra days, time off, etc. The extra curricular programs provided are so fun filled and my son enjoys every bit of it! In the words of my son on his days off, "I wanna go to schooooool!"”

“The most wonderful preschool. The teachers know my daughter as an individual and more than anything she’s so happy. Storytelling, mud kitchen mess making, art and crafting, tool use; just everything is so great using true Montessori methods. My daughter has grown so much after a single term and I look forward to staying with Hummingbirds for another 5 years as I’ll definitely send my soon when he’s old enough!”

“We have nearly four years experience with Archway Children's Centre (our one year old is in the Baby room and our four year old - at the nursery since she was 10 months old - is now in the Pre-School room). We only have positive things to say and frequently thank our lucky stars such high quality childcare was available to us. The facilities are fantastic but more importantly, the management and staff are amazing. Warm and respectful of each other and the children, but also extremely professional. They combine care, attention and affection for the children with remarkably creative ideas for educating and entertaining them. Our children love it and we feel they are in the best hands.”

“Our daughter (now in year 8) has been at Edge Grove since year 6 having spent all her previous schooling in the French system. We joined the school at a time when the new headmaster, Me Evans, was still putting in place his vision, but we felt that he knew exactly what he was wanting to do, and we completely bought into that vision. We have not been disappointed. The pastoral care has been first rate, particularly helping our daughter in the transition to a British Independent school. From what we have seen, any pastoral issues are dealt with speedily and sensitively. Great emphasis is put on politeness and creating the right environment for learning, whilst enjoying everything that the school has to offer. The education curriculum is innovative, supportive and stretching, and the school is doing a fantastic job of supporting all year 8 pupils in preparation for CE, truly differentiating based on the schools they are applying to and the exams they will be taking. Extra-curriculum activities are great too - the Director of Music is fantastic and the improvement in the quality of all school music activities has been marked, while the head of girls' games is really raising the bar too. Staff go beyond what one might expect and respond rapidly and helpfully to any questions or concerns. The parent community is friendly and welcoming. The school certainly deserves its recent rating of Excellent in all regards from the Independent Schools Inspection. I highly recommend the school to any prospective parent.”

“My daughter has been attending little cubs for over 6 months and she loves it. She seems very happy and I’m really pleased with how much effort the staff clearly put into activities and keeping the classes entertained! They offer opportunities for parents and grandparents to visit and read books which I have really enjoyed as I get to meet the whole class! They do evening online classes for parents to learn about sleep and food from specialists. My daughter seems to love the food and eats all sorts of things she doesn’t try at home so I’m pleased she is getting that variety. The staff spend a good amount of time with you at the end of the day letting you know all about your child’s day which I really appreciate. Overall just a fantastic experience.”

So good in fact, I volunteered as a Parent Governor 5 or more years ago to support it's great efforts in the community, and it's gone from strength to strength. Don't believe Ofsted, this is an OUTSTANDING school and no mistake. Don't believe me? Go in for a visit yourself.”

The staff are experienced, motivated and knowledgeable and provide a high standard of teaching, strong in the Arts and Sciences. Situated right in the heart of Kings Cross, the school takes advantage of being close to major scientific institutions (the Crick Institute), a technology giant (Google), the British Library and the Inns of Court. The school doesn't rest on its laurels and has a number of exciting developments coming soon.”

“Ringrose is absolutely outstanding; both of my children had a wonderful time here, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I looked around all the nurseries in Chelsea and South Kensington, and Ringrose stood out because of the holistic nature of the experience offered: not only does it offer a fantastically nurturing and warm environment for little ones to flourish, but academically it is rigorous and gives children a great head start when they begin at school as the children are taught phonics very thoroughly indeed and are able to read to a high standard when the leave. St Luke’s Hall is airy, spacious and light, and they have St Luke’s gardens and football pitches on their doorstep so there is plenty of space for them to roam around and enjoy their weekly Playball lessons. I really appreciated the flexibility offered - afternoon sessions are optional, and that is unusual as most nurseries require full day attendance during the second year. The Christmas and summer term productions were always a total delight. Above all, the staff are, without exception, friendly, kind, warm and extremely experienced, and I always felt that I was leaving my children in the most capable hands: both of my children would skip in without a backward glance. Over the past four years my children and I have made some incredible friendships; there is a great community spirit amongst the parent body. I am sad that our time at Ringrose has now come to an end, but I shall cherish the happy memories and continue to recommend it unreservedly to any prospective parents.”

“We have had an absolutely wonderful experience with Greenwood Nursery. Coming from a previous nursery where a serious case of abuse had been announced a year ago, trusting a new setting again was not easy for us. At first, we also weren’t fully convinced by the layout, as the nursery is split into two separate buildings. But in the end, this turned out to be a real positive;everything runs smoothly, and the setup actually works incredibly well. The staff are truly fantastic. They provide detailed handovers every day and post frequently on the app, where we can clearly see how busy and engaged they are with the children. Our child was excited to go to nursery every morning and absolutely loved every single member of the team. One of the things we appreciate the most is the variety of activities they offer. They don’t just stay indoors;they take the children out regularly, and they even organised visits to a local care home. This is one of the most heartwarming activities we’ve seen, benefiting both the children and the elderly residents. They also go to the playground twice a day, and at the end of our son’s final day, he came home with a whole bag full of arts and crafts he had made. Although our son is now in school and attends a different nursery for afterschool hours (purely for convenience), we truly miss Greenwood. One of their standout qualities is their openness: parents can come inside at pick-up, walk in freely, and see the children in action without making them uncomfortable or interrupting. This transparency gave us a huge sense of trust and peace of mind;something we haven’t found elsewhere, where doors barely open and everything feels much more closed off. At Greenwood, you can pop in at any time and see exactly what’s going on. They have nothing to hide, and it shows. We would 100% recommend this nursery to any parent. For us, it’s the best nursery in town. If they had an outdoor space, it would be a 10/10;but since they go outside twice a day anyway, I think they fully deserve that 10/10. Definitely give them a try. We’re so grateful for the amazing experience they provided our little one.”
