My child struggled to settle in a previous nursery, but here he quickly felt comfortable and was happily staying for 5 hours. “The process of settling our child was amazing. He settled immediately into the setting and the teachers took his needs as a foremost consideration. The teachers he has had in the past 9 months have been outstanding and the care he has received has been as close to what we as parents would give. The meals offered are simply amazing! He loves the variety offered to him and has never complained once about it. The management is very flexible and accommodating to parents in terms of extra days, time off, etc. The extra curricular programs provided are so fun filled and my son enjoys every bit of it! In the words of my son on his days off, "I wanna go to schooooool!"”

“Our daughter (now in year 8) has been at Edge Grove since year 6 having spent all her previous schooling in the French system. We joined the school at a time when the new headmaster, Me Evans, was still putting in place his vision, but we felt that he knew exactly what he was wanting to do, and we completely bought into that vision. We have not been disappointed. The pastoral care has been first rate, particularly helping our daughter in the transition to a British Independent school. From what we have seen, any pastoral issues are dealt with speedily and sensitively. Great emphasis is put on politeness and creating the right environment for learning, whilst enjoying everything that the school has to offer. The education curriculum is innovative, supportive and stretching, and the school is doing a fantastic job of supporting all year 8 pupils in preparation for CE, truly differentiating based on the schools they are applying to and the exams they will be taking. Extra-curriculum activities are great too - the Director of Music is fantastic and the improvement in the quality of all school music activities has been marked, while the head of girls' games is really raising the bar too. Staff go beyond what one might expect and respond rapidly and helpfully to any questions or concerns. The parent community is friendly and welcoming. The school certainly deserves its recent rating of Excellent in all regards from the Independent Schools Inspection. I highly recommend the school to any prospective parent.”

“My daughter has been attending little cubs for over 6 months and she loves it. She seems very happy and I’m really pleased with how much effort the staff clearly put into activities and keeping the classes entertained! They offer opportunities for parents and grandparents to visit and read books which I have really enjoyed as I get to meet the whole class! They do evening online classes for parents to learn about sleep and food from specialists. My daughter seems to love the food and eats all sorts of things she doesn’t try at home so I’m pleased she is getting that variety. The staff spend a good amount of time with you at the end of the day letting you know all about your child’s day which I really appreciate. Overall just a fantastic experience.”

“Two brilliant children all the way through from Reception & Infants at the adjoining Infants school to Yrs 3, 4, 5 & 6 at this excellent school, first now thriving at secondary. So good in fact, I volunteered as a Parent Governor 5 or more years ago to support it's great efforts in the community, and it's gone from strength to strength. Don't believe Ofsted, this is an OUTSTANDING school and no mistake. Don't believe me? Go in for a visit yourself.”

“We have had an absolutely wonderful experience with Greenwood Nursery. Coming from a previous nursery where a serious case of abuse had been announced a year ago, trusting a new setting again was not easy for us. At first, we also weren’t fully convinced by the layout, as the nursery is split into two separate buildings. But in the end, this turned out to be a real positive;everything runs smoothly, and the setup actually works incredibly well. The staff are truly fantastic. They provide detailed handovers every day and post frequently on the app, where we can clearly see how busy and engaged they are with the children. Our child was excited to go to nursery every morning and absolutely loved every single member of the team. One of the things we appreciate the most is the variety of activities they offer. They don’t just stay indoors;they take the children out regularly, and they even organised visits to a local care home. This is one of the most heartwarming activities we’ve seen, benefiting both the children and the elderly residents. They also go to the playground twice a day, and at the end of our son’s final day, he came home with a whole bag full of arts and crafts he had made. Although our son is now in school and attends a different nursery for afterschool hours (purely for convenience), we truly miss Greenwood. One of their standout qualities is their openness: parents can come inside at pick-up, walk in freely, and see the children in action without making them uncomfortable or interrupting. This transparency gave us a huge sense of trust and peace of mind;something we haven’t found elsewhere, where doors barely open and everything feels much more closed off. At Greenwood, you can pop in at any time and see exactly what’s going on. They have nothing to hide, and it shows. We would 100% recommend this nursery to any parent. For us, it’s the best nursery in town. If they had an outdoor space, it would be a 10/10;but since they go outside twice a day anyway, I think they fully deserve that 10/10. Definitely give them a try. We’re so grateful for the amazing experience they provided our little one.”

Within just a few weeks, I noticed a huge positive change in my son’s confidence, happiness, and manners — he genuinely looks forward to going every day. The staff are professional, caring, and go above and beyond to create a warm, supportive environment. Having previously used local childminders, I can honestly say that the level of care, structure, and learning opportunities at Little Hearts are on a completely different standard. The environment is nurturing, stimulating, and well-organised, and the staff are well-mannered, highly trained and genuinely care about each child’s individual needs and progress. I also love that they use the Tapestry app to share updates and photos — it gives parents real peace of mind. The difference compared to childminders settings is remarkable. My only regret is not sending my older son here. The Little Hearts team is simply outstanding, and I’m so grateful for the support, care, and encouragement they have given my child — truly an amazing preschool!”

“An absolutely fabulous nursery. My son only attended one day a week but his progress in all areas sped up phenomenally after only a few sessions. Being at BP boosted his confidence, his interest in art, his social skills and his language and numeracy skills immensely. I can't emphasise enough just how lovely the staff are at BP; Henry looked forward to seeing them every week and barely gave me a second glance once dropped off! The staff were always consistent and everyone I spoke to there knew exactly who my son was and all his likes, dislikes and habits. A far cry from a previous nursery he attended where I saw his key worker twice in about three months and there was no sense of closeness with the toddlers at all... Henry always had the best time at BP, especially getting to go outside exploring every day he was there. We were absolutely devastated to leave and only did so because we were moving out of area. I would highly recommend this nursery if you are looking for a calm, well organised, friendly environment and professional staff who go above and beyond for the kids.”
