“What a little gem in Merton Abbey Mills, fantastic Thai food and a full separate vegan menu (kept the missus happy). Quality of the food was great, service excellent, even the coffee was really good. Pad Thai and springs roles for my wife and I had a Penang beef curry with rice. “I ordered Thai red curry and fried pho. Both taste good and authentic. The curry does not come with rice, so u hv to order a bowl of rice tgt with it. The rice is well steamed, hot and soft. Love it. The curry portion is huge, it’s enough for 2 person. So next time I’ll order 2 bowls of rice and a curry. In that case I can order some pre meal snack instead :) Love it!”

“This was my first visit here, the service was first class and the restaurant spacious, clean and tidy. All members of staff were polite and couldn't be more helpful. The food tasted excellent and was good size portions with large and tender chicken pieces. All the flavours cane through really well. I totally enjoyed the visit. Sadek is doing a fantastic job running the establishment, well done, keep up the good work! Both female waitresses were extremely polite and quick providing a first class service. “The food is actually amazing!!! Never disappoints when I go to be honest. The sweetcorn fritters for starters are my favourite, the pad Thai & the green curry are all amazing!! I would say however that it is definitely on the pricier side for a restaurant in Eastcote really. The service is also a bit of a let down despite it being so quiet and they close rather early too and they make that know when you stay late in the restaurant so not ideal for any social gathering just a quick, expensive meal really”

The beef masaman curry was gorgeous and the spring rolls and prawn toast were both crispy and delicious. Waited no more than 10 minutes for the food. “Wow! I went to this Potters Bar Thai when it was the Royal Elephant and have seen it go through some changes - name, ownership etc. - and this is by far the best version. I think this should not be a 'secret', but lauded from the rooftops. Too much praise? Not enough praise more like it. It is light and airy, very clean, comfortable and yet feels special.
