“The absolutely best cafe breakfast I've had in a long time good value decent sausages I really enjoyed it many thanks guys please keep up your great standards. 02.11.23 Unfortunately the previous owner sold the cafe I had the same set breakfast as I've had a few times now and it wasn't to the normal quality the sausages was over cooked the eggs was under cooked to tge point they was snotty in the middle. The previous owner cooked a good breakfast I only hope the new owner picks up on his cooking.”

“A lovely cafe in Romford with great food! The prices are reasonable and the staff are very kind. I’ve been here a few times and have never been disappointed. I usually get the full English breakfast with tea, and my boyfriend likes the chef special set 1. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, which is nice during the summer. The toilet is inside and was spotless. I would recommend!”

“This is a really special cafè. I had a delicious muffin with bacon, avocado and fried egg. Great price. Had no idea all of the proceeds go to homeless charity until I went inside. Really nice welcoming and homely atmosphere inside too. Really impressed with the volunteers especially one guy who was doing so well despite English not being his first language. Will deff go back and would encourage others to go too.”

“Hands down the best spot in Romford, tucked away on the far side of the market, this little gem is a generational family run cafe, I had a sausage egg and bacon sandwich taken away, it was foodgasmic the bacon was thick back bacon with a light smoke, the egg was runny the sausage was good quality and the crusty English bread was fresh and nourishing slavered in butter and brown sauce. I have been here a few times and think it’s great, and the tea is a good blend with a strong colour just the way I like it not milky and served in a proper cup not those fancy coffee dish’s. Keep up the good work guys.”

The bagel was perfectly toasted, the bacon and sausage were full of flavor, and the egg was fluffy and fresh. The hash brown added the perfect crunch. Everything tasted hot, fresh, and made to order. “What a lovely place. From first booking our afternoon tea to arriving, Kelly was great. Our groups food intolerances were catered for extremely well & everyone enjoyed a delicious & plentiful afternoon tea. We had lovely fresh sandwiches, warm soft scones, not dry or crumbly & a large variety of delicious cakes all served in authentic crockery, a nice touch. Even our dog was welcomed just as much as we were. We had to take our leftovers home as we couldn't finish all of the delicious cakes, a welcomed treat later on. Thank you to Kelly & Eastbrookend tea rooms for a lovely afternoon tea. We'll be back & would recommend!”

“I went some folks from work, had such a lovely time. An early Christmas meal out. The food was amazing, very quick to order if you do it via app. The drinks were perfect, cheap and cheerful. Only thing, we unfortunately kept needing to ask staff to clear our finished plates and glasses. And one of the staff was sweet enough to take a group photo, but a different one appeared a bit grumpy throughout the time we were there. But overall, pretty dark good for the price and atmosphere and company, 10/10 would recommend. I think I found my new favourite 'Spoons.”

“Never fails to dissapoint. The food is never overcooked, the presentation is amazing and such friendly staff. Ordered American pancakes. Unlike other cafes who serve you scotch pancakes from a packet these were homemade and absolutely delicious. Well done cafe Abella, you've created a customer for life.”
