St Claudine's Catholic School for Girls

    ★★★☆☆ 3.5

“This school is a very welcoming and warm place. Most of the teachers are really great and make sure you feel included in everything. The teachers can be a little strict but overall the school is a great place filled with great opportunities and a variety of extracurricular activities that are not found in any other school. My form tutor, Dr Patel is very welcoming and I feel as if I could go to her for anything.”

    Redcliffe Gardens School

“The most fantastic school we could have wished for. Small class sizes, helpful, kind and interesting teachers. The school really welcomes the involvement of parents into school life. The head strives to make the school like one big family and actually succeeds. The children are from all nationalities and the cultural enrichment for the children is superb. As a parent at the school I have made so many of my own friends due to the warm open door policy that the school offers. Clubs after school are extensive and the lessons are really well thought out and fun for the children. My daughter has excelled at the school and we could not be happier.”

“My daughter has attended this school over the past 4 years, she has excelled academically, and the school is more like a family then JUST another school, which helps contribute to my daughters well being. Also the school is from pre-school to secondary, which helps with that awkward and fearful transitioning, that comes at pre-school to primary and primary to secondary age.”

“My daughter has been at St Joseph’s since nursery when she was 3yrs old. I cannot overstate how happy we are with her wonderful school. It has always been a gentle nurturing school perfect for first steps into education. There had been some concerns that previously rigorous academic standards were dropping but no more. Mrs Birtles the new headteacher has brought a wealth of experience, energy & vision. In less than a year she has revolutionised the school, no longer old fashioned & safe, the new St Joseph’s is cutting edge & exciting. Growth mindset, persistence, creativity, wonderful educational trips, meditation, specialist music, art, sport, drama & IT & the most dedicated teaching staff you could hope for. The academic curriculum has been fully overhauled with the introduction of Read Write Inc & a mastery approach in maths. The Yr 2 (Infants 3) class just did the KS1 SATs for bench marking (the children were largely totally unaware this was happening) & have done phenomenally well. With a very large percentage of girls working at ‘greater depth’ & scaled scores of 115 (the maximum score) being almost the norm. The Prep 4’s 11+ results were outstanding (on website) St Joseph’s now really does have it all, fiercely strong academics in a totally non ‘hot housing’ nurturing environment. It’s the last day of term today & my daughter wishes there was another week of school!! that’s how much she loves St Joseph’s. We feel fortunate to have this amazing school on our doorstep & are so grateful to Mrs Birtles & all the amazing staff for giving our daughter such an great attitude to learning & to life.”

“Belmont is a fantastic school, I can’t praise the staff enough, when my son and daughter started I was anxious about how it would be but what I can say is it’s the best decision my husband and I have made within education. The children have flourished since being at Belmont and are looking forward to many more happy years at the school. I would recommend Belmont highly to any parent.”

    Micklefield School

“Today, with my business Immersive Theatres, I delivered a 7m digital planetarium experience to all 200 Nursery to Year 6 pupils at Micklefield School. I was warmly welcomed by the staff and found the hall prepared just as I had requested. The day was well organised with all groups arriving on time. The excited but well-behaved students enjoyed a rich selection of content: voyaging with Charles Darwin to the Galapagos on the HMS Beagle; learning about dinosaurs and the origin of birds; and diving under the waves to explore coral reefs and the deepest oceans. Thank you Micklefield School for a very pleasant visit.”
