“I'm not sure what all of the negative reviews are about; this is my first Japanese BBQ; I didn’t even know that there was such a thing. I've tried several Korean BBQ's and the prices for a similar selection of BBQ items is compatible. When I arrived at around 15:00 on a Sunday, the restaurant was empty; no customers whatsoever, this normally sets off alarm bells but Japanese BBQ... That's got to be experienced. Our waiter was attentive and efficient, he explained the process of the using BBQ, but I have to admit I did have to prompt him to get the information else we would have had more food stuck to the BBQ grill. He stated that a BBQ serving was suitable for an individual; I would agree to that if you didn't want any starters or side dishes. We also added Gyoza and noodles; I think that it was a little too much, I think that a single platter for one is correct if you haven't eaten for a few days. We chose one selection the chefs choice of mixed meats and one selection of seafood; we ate it all but I felt uncomfortably full afterwards; so much for my plan of a "light lunch". I will eat here again as I love Korean BBQ and this is on par with that with the advantage of not having to travel to New Malden.”

“Sitting in the car in the rain after Hampton Court Flower Show we stumbled on the Thai Courtyard googling for somewhere to have dinner. How lucky were we! Lovely staff were so welcoming and the food was fantastic. Would certainly some again and anyone wanting a Thai treat in the area should not miss visiting.”

“Best Italian restaurant out there, i totally recommend this place, it’s a 10/10, the food is so fresh, the staff are kind and amazing, we got free items on the house, free limoncello at the end, the steak was perfectly cooked, the portion sizes are a great value and it’s not even that expensive! I recommend the calamari, carbonara, and a steak dish called “Surf Turf” with a large portion of prawns. I recommend to try this place out whenever you have a chance!”

“I have been here now 3 times on a recommendation having tried 3 different dishes I would say the food was excellent staff friendly and service excellent I live a good half hour drive from the place and it is certainly worth the effort by far the cheapest restaurant I know and because it was so cheap I was hesitant in taking anyone with me but I’ve tried 3 totally different dishes one being lamb and I will bringing my family next visit for sure”

“We absolutely love Harry's for fish n chips! The chunky chips are perfect, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The cod is not too greasy and has crispy batter. “My wife and I loved our Sunday night stay at the Mitre Hotel. What did we like? Wonderful situation on the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary and generous glass of wine on arrival. Large, comfortable and quiet room - we were upgraded to The Royal Mews (many thanks for that) - with complimentary coffee, biscuits etc. Excellent breakfast buffet taken in the lovely round room with wonderful views of the Thames. Settle in Sunday is a really great deal. Would we stay at The Mitre again? Like a shot!”
